Meet Splotch!Splotch found her way to us after a good samaritan found her wandering a park looking a little rough. She was super sweet and came right up to them, knowing she was about to get her second chance. In the shelter, she`s been nothing but an angel; great for vetting, handling, and occasionally playing. Splotch loves catnip and catnip toys, and will readily bat around a feather wand.She also has a tiny quirk. If given the chance, Splotch has decided that her FAVORITE snack is clay litter. She now gets pine pellet litter and hasn`t had any litter-eating tendencies since. We believe the litter-eating could have been caused by the stress of environment changes, but we are erring on the side of caution; she can likely be transitioned to regular litter in a home environment with no issues once she`s settled in. We will send Splotch out with a bag of her pine pellet litter to help with the transition!Besides trying to snack on cat litter, Splotch would be great for almost any home. She did spend a few days in an adoptive home before being brought back due to allergies. Her adopters say that she was a perfect houseguest besides not getting along with their dogs. She just needs a home with no canines, but she loves other cats! Splotch also did great with the children in the home. In the shelter environment she can be a little withdrawn, but she warmed up in the home so quickly and was a major lap-cat. Meet Tish!Tish came to us as an owner surrender after her owners passed away and family was unable to take her. Her surrenderer noted that Tish has always struggled with respiratory issues, and after multiple trials of treatments, our medical team has diagnosed Tish with chronic intermittent upper respiratory infections. This means that she will occasionally have bouts of sneezing, nasal and ocular discharge, and congestion. In a home environment, she may only have recurrences during periods of stress, but there is no guarantee. However, there`s a lot more to Tish than her condition. She loves toys and loves to play; feather wands and things that crinkle are her favorites! Other cats and children of all ages are no issue, as long as they respect her personal bubble. Tish loves affection and being close to her people. She would never turn down scritches or a good treat. She would make the perfect addition to any home with a little bit of patience for her health (and regular vet checkups). If you think Tish sounds like your next best friend, come meet her today! Meet MooMoo!MooMoo came to us as an owner surrender after her owner unfortunately passed away and family was unable to take her. MooMoo is on the shier side but warms up to strangers pretty quickly. Once she`s comfortable with her people, she loves to be held and lay on laps. Her favorite toy is a laser pointer; other than that, she`s not a huge fan of toys and is usually a low-energy girl.
