Story
Ellie was a shelter kitty, adopted in 2020. She is now 6 years old. She is chunky, sassy, and affectionate. Ellie loves to play, watch birds in her hammock and gets zoomies sporadically. Ellie is also front de-clawed, so she must be strictly indoors at all times. We want to be transparent about her journey to ensure she finds the perfect understanding home; Ellie does require special food for IBS (Hill's Prescription Diet Gastrointestinal Biome with Chicken, Dry Cat Food) and has a behavioral challenge with using the litter box consistently when stressed or her environment changes. She recently began anxiety medication that is helping with the litter box behavior and her tummy issues are currently non-existent with her new food. Ellie really needs a low-stress forever home, lots of love and attention. The vet seems to think a home with either no other pets or very laid back pets would be a better environment for Ellie.
