Story
Strudel is a beautiful 1-1/2 year old female Tortoiseshell kitty who was brought to the HSOV on March 12, 2025 after she was found on Wooster Street in Marietta Ohio with her six tiny 2-week old kittens (along with Strudel's sister Banbaleena and her four tiny 2-week old babies. These sweet Tortoiseshell sisters raised their kittens in small shelter cages with some assistance from our amazing HSOV Kennel Techs.
Strudel has a black/orange/beige short smooth coat with a band of orange around her mid-section, a rather long body, a long tail, and a lovely orange face with a black stripe on her nose/forehead, golden eyes, and long black whiskers.
Strudel was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on March 13, 2025. She weighed 9 lbs that day. Strudel was given booster vaccines on March 27, 2025.
Strudel was a wonderful loving mother to her babies and raised them to be happy, playful youngsters.
Strudel's six kittens (Eggs, Gravy, Hashbrown, Jelly, Sausage, and Toast) will be spayed/neutered (tentatively in June 2025) and will be ready to find loving homes of their very own. Strudel's kittens will posted on Petfinder/Adoptapet/Facebook in the near future.
Strudel (and Banbaleena) were separated from their kittens after they were fully weaned, and the sisters were reunited with each other. They are currently enjoying a triple-wide cage in our Jungle Room.
Sturdel has an affectionate disposition and a playful, outgoing personality.
Strudel was spayed on May 12, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 8.7 lbs that day.
These updated photos of Strudel were taken on May 16, 2025. Thanks to HSOV Kennel Techs Lauryn Hamilton and Emma Dahlgren for carrying Strudel and Banbaleena into our 'studio' for their glamour photos and to enjoy some out-of-cage time.
Strudel and Banbaleena are very bonded with each other and are being listed as a bonded pair since we feel that it is in their best interest to be adopted together. They are looking for a fabulous home either through adoption or rescue.
Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
