Story
Taylor (aka Lily Anne) is a beautiful 3-year 9-month old female kitty who was surrendered by her owner on February 5, 2026 because she was moving to an assisted-living residence and was unable to take Taylor to the new location. Taylor has a dark brown tabby shorthaired coat with orange highlights in a Torbie pattern, a long ringed tail, and an adorable chubby face with golden eyes, a brown velvet nose, a splash of white on her muzzle, and long white whiskers. This little sweetheart has a super-sweet, outgoing personality. Her mistress told us that Taylor is good with other cats and also with children. There weren't any dogs in the home, so we don't know how Taylor feels about canine friends. Taylor's previous owner indicated that she has been known to be a 'door dasher'. Taylor may look familiar to some of our HSOV Volunteers/Facebook followers since she was adopted from our shelter in August 2025. She had enjoyed the freedom of her very own home for the past six months and is sad to be back in a shelter cage, so we hope that Taylor will quickly find another loving home. Taylor has already been spayed and is up-to-date on vaccinations including rabies vaccine. She weighs approximately 9 lbs. These photos of Taylor were taken on March 20, 2026 while she was taking a catnap in one of the special cardboard boxes that local Girl Scouts donated for our shelter kitties during their Girl Scout cookie fundraiser. Taylor is currently in a double-wide cage in The Jungle Room where most our our adoptable cats are housed.

Taylor (aka Lily) is a beautiful 3-1/2 year old female kitty who was surrendered by her owner on February 5, 2026 because she was moving to an assisted-living residence and was unable to take Taylor to the new location. Taylor has a dark brown tabby short smooth coat, a long ringed tail, and an adorable chubby face with golden eyes, a brown velvet nose, and extra-long white whiskers. This little sweetheart has a friendly, outgoing personality. Taylor is good with other cats and also with children. She has enjoyed the freedom of her very own home for the past six months and is sad to be back in a small cage, so we hope that Taylor will quickly find another great home. Taylor has already been spayed and is up-to-date on vaccinations including rabies vaccine. She weighs approximately 9 lbs.

Story
Yeti is a handsome 6-year old male kitty who was brought to the HSOV on March 11, 2026 by a Good Samaritan who found him on Florence Street in Belpre Ohio. Yeti was not wearing a collar, and he was not microchipped. Yeti has a snow white short-haired coat, a long tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, a pink nose, and long white whiskers. Yeti was given vaccinations and Pyrantel dewormer on March 12, 2026. He weighed 9.1 lbs that day. Yeti was given booster vaccines on March 31, 2026. This sweet boy has a quiet, easygoing personality and loves attention. Yeti was examined by one of our local veterinarians on March 24th and was diagnosed as being diabetic, so he is being listed as a ‘Special Needs Kitty’ for that reason. Yeti has been given daily insulin injections and is doing very well thanks to his veterinarian who has been monitoring dosages (and the excellent care from our HSOV Feline Kennel Techs). Yeti is currently enjoying a triple-decker cat tower in the lobby of our shelter. He is ready to find a fabulous home with an individual or family who is experienced in caring for a diabetic kitty. Yeti was already neutered when he entered our shelter, so he could leave our shelter immediately with an approved HSOV adoption application.
