Ringworm is actually not a worm at all, but instead it`s a fungal skin infection similar to athlete`s foot. He will need to be bathed twice weekly in a medicated solution until the infection has cleared. THS will provide the bathing solution for the remainder of treatment. Want to hear the best news? Ringworm can be contagious to people or other animals, but our adoption counselors will give you tips for housing, handling, and care to minimize the risk of spread to family members or other pets at home.

In foster care, she preferred to observe from a safe space at first, but with patience and tasty lickable treats, she began approaching on her own terms. Pyro does best when allowed to move at her own pace and will thrive in a calm, low-traffic home with patient adopters.She came in with another cat, Sizzle, and looks to him for comfort. While not required to go home together, Pyro may benefit from a confident, cat-social companion after a slow introduction. A dedicated safe room is recommended to help her settle in comfortably.With time, consistency, and kindness, Pyro will blossom into a loving companion.

Meet Finn!! Finn came to THS as a stray. This friendly young man is ready for his furrever home! Finn spent some time in foster care for our annual Home for the Holidays program and based on his reviews, this sweet boy is sure to make your heart melt!Finn`s foster family described him as shy at first, but once warmed up, he got along well with other cats and even young children! Finn was a `pretty laid back cat` who enjoyed cat nip toys, a scratching post, other smaller toys, and who overall `just really enjoyed his pets and a quiet space to relax. When he got lonely, he voiced his opinion to attract us or the other cats to play with him.` His foster family thinks that he would be good with a family that has children or other cats but also good for someone who just wants a simple laid back cat that appreciates affection!!Finn enjoys attention, he craves affection, is great with kids, and is also very low maintenance!
