Pond arrived at THS as a sick, scared stray alongside her friends River and Ocean. After some time in foster care, she discovered the perks of cozy indoor living and has made so much progress!Pond is a little shy, but incredibly curious about everything around her. She loves the idea of playtime, but can still get a little nervous and spooked, especially when approached unexpectedly. She’ll likely need a few days to settle in and open up to her new family, but with patience and a slow introduction, we think this sweet girl will continue to blossom.Pond’s yellowish-green eyes are just as beautiful as her personality, and once she feels comfortable, she’ll be ready to show you all she has to offer.Could you be the patient person Pond has been waiting for? Meet Beatrice and Katia! These two cuties were transferred to THS from another shelter! Now they are reday to find their furrever homes! We are still getting to know their personalities, but so far they are very sweet!This cat had a positive screening test for FeLV on 7/6, at another shelter. It then tested negative on both an Antigen by ELISA test and a FeLV Quant RealPCR test on 7/23. Per Idexx the testing lab, these negative results together makes FeLV infection very unlikely.The most likely explanations are that the cat may have been infected and cleared the virus, or the initial test may have been a false positive.With this cat adoption, please understand you are responsible for any future medical needs of your new pet.
