Story
Meet ARTEMIS, a short-haired adult gray male who is wise beyond his years.  He is a true gentleman.  He is loving but also shy.  He will run up to receive love and to get pets, but isn’t pushy about it.  He will let his siblings overrun him and back off from the bolder personalities, putting himself at the bottom of the stack, so to speak.  He likes to play with wand toys but is mostly interested in being with someone and keeping them company.  He takes about a week or so to warm up, but once comfortable, he is very rewarding to love on.  He has soulful, deep eyes that speak to you – he conveys gratitude and contentment very strongly when he looks at you.  Artemis came to our rescue after his owner passed away, and is looking for a home where he can quietly devote himself to you as your faithful companion. Artemis has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet Artemis in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $100 adoption fee ($30 discount if adopted with another cat) allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1.  ID  2501-C0009 ARTEMIS DOB  3/1/21 (est) GOOD WITH CUTIE OR OTHER MELLOW, NON-DOMINANT CATS, BUT WOULD BE GREAT AS AN ONLY CAT CAN ACCLIMATE TO A FRIENDLY DOG? Story
NADA and YADA are an adorable pair of young adult, solid black sisters in search of their forever home -- in your heart!  Of the two, Nada may be a bit shy initially, but once she gets acclimated to a new situation, she is very affectionate. She often follows her humans around the house. Yada is more outgoing, adventurous and curious--Yada loves everyone she meets. Together, they are fun to observe as they play tag, chase feathers and strings, and engage in hide and seek. Both like to talk to their humans and come running for love and affection! Adopted as kittens, these gorgeous sisters were surrendered to CRAN after their owner passed away. They are bonded and must be adopted together. Nada and Yada have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and are negative for FeLV and FIV. Their adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. You can meet YADA and NADA at the cattery inside our partner PetSmart in North Eugene (2847 Chad Dr, across from Costco).  Please submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store, and an adoption counselor will contact you to set up a meet and greet. The $280 adoption fee (for both) allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Story
Sweet KITKAT is a short haired, white teenager kitty with spots of brown tabby all over. KitKat loves to cuddle and is mastering play-catching her foster siblings and toys. This delightful girl enjoys chasing her tail and wrestling. KitKat squeaks like a toy, leading to her nickname “Squeaker.” KitKat was bottle fed as a kitten in her previous home. She has been lovingly cared for in her foster home where she has blossomed into a healthy kitty. KitKat is a people’s cat who adores humans and wants to be all over your space. She opens up quickly to humans and will likely need extra time when being introduced to other cats, but she understands kitty social queues and when to and when not to interact with fellow cats. KitKat is perfect for any home who wants a big cuddle bug who loves to play! KitKat has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet KitKat in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $155 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
