Story
I adopted her while I was living abroad. Shes three years old and a lot of fun to be with. She loves to cuddle and play. Shes very sweet and will always want attention. At the time when I first got her I had a lot more space and time for her, but now Im working and going to school. Ideally would like for her to go somewhere where shed have more room to run around and also have another cat for her to play with. She used to live with two other cats and they would play all the time. I think she misses that.

Story
Kalaman (Kah-la-mahn) is a great kitty!! We rescued him 2 years ago at 7 mo's old. He is silly, playful, sweet. He loves drinking from the faucet, chasing a laser, laying with arms outstretched or dangling. He snores & sits & sleeps in hilarious ways! Ask for photos. A pheromone collar has helped with his curiosity. He will "help" with any project you have. He is a sweet boy, my daughter's favorite cat! It just doesn't seem fair to rehome the other cat. They used to be best friends, sleeping & bathing each other. We moved homes & he started attacking the other cat out of the blue. We've been working with our vet but nothing has helped. He may get along with another cat as he has in the past, but I'm not sure. He is an indoor only cat with access to an outdoor cattery. We have a big dog he hated at first but now loves. He comes when called and loves his people. Our only warning is he loves string & will eat it. He's a sweet, fun, playful cat in need of a loving home soon! ❤️

Story
Meet sweet ASTORIA, a long-haired solid black cat with a bit of a wonky right eye that makes it look like she’s squinting at you.  It just makes her stand out in her uniqueness.  Astoria is the perfect cat for someone looking for an easy-going companion, in a quiet home.  She hit a bit of a rough patch, and was surrendered to the rescue after her owner could no longer care for her and is need of a calm, loving home to call her own again.  She is independent and low maintenance.  She likes looking out the window and perching someplace high for a nap.  She also enjoys bumping up against people’s legs to get cuddles and pets.  She starts out timid but warms up fairly quickly.  She has a special eye that does get crusty occasionally and will need to be wiped, but she doesn’t let that slow her down.  Astoria is an exceptionally rewarding cat to get to know and love, and would be a wonderful addition to the right home! Astoria has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet Astoria in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $100 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Our healthy, neutered, vaccinated, feral working cats are eager to stalk prey for you. Delivery, coaching and equipment can be provided but you will be responsible for the cats' daily care. Adoption fee is a suggested donation of $45 per cat. If you can provide safe shelter away from dangerous roads; daily food and clean water; and the month required to care for them in confinement to acclimate them to their new home please visit our website to apply. Story
YIN (female) and YANG (male) are a bonded pair of adorable black and white tuxedo young adult kitties with the cutest pink noses. Yin is a friendly and cuddly kitty who loves to play, especially with a feather wand, balls, or tumbling around with Yang.  She will quickly accompany you on the couch or the bed for pets and snuggles. She is quick to open up to people, and is fiercely protective of her brother. Yang is a sweet but more timid kitty who loves to chase his sister around the house and is very dependent on her. He is the first to remind you that it’s mealtime! Yang loves to lay on top of his sister and then they groom each other. YANG has sebaceous gland dysplasia which means his body doesn't make enough of the oils to coat his fur and skin. As a result, his hair is thin and discolored, particularly on his feet and around his nose and mouth. This doesn’t affect his health or personality at all—his condition is stable, and does not require any ongoing care.  His imperfect looks are very endearing. Yin and Yang are the cutest couple with the most precious bond. They will warm your heart and make you laugh They have been altered, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV, and include a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet YIN and YANG in foster care, please fill out an Adoption Application for consideration at catrescues.org/adopt, and an adoption counselor will contact you in 3 to 5 days for a possible meet-and-greet. The $225 adoption fee for the pair allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
