Story
Our female cat was adopted as a kitten by our son when he was in college. He ended up moving across the country and we ended up having her for the past 4 years. It's just my husband and I and she has been very spoiled. She is an indoor cat but loves to wander around our backyard when the weather allows. She is used to a quiet house and shy's away from children or lots of noise. She has never been around other animals, so we do not know how well she would do. She is a brown tabby and is almost 8 years old. We will be relocating and cannot take her with us. She would be perfect for a quiet home and with an adult or adults who enjoy a quiet companion.

Story
Loving, affectionate tabby. I am looking for a more suitable home for him. He is 8. He'd love a female companion since he was once bonded to one. He does not like male cats in his area. Indoors mostly but enjoys going out too. If you work from home, that would be good because he likes his human. My circumstances have changed.

Story
Hazel was 5 months old when I got her in 2020. I believe she was born in February of that year. She's very quiet and doesn't try to escape when you open the front door. Sweet temperament but doesn't really care to be picked up. Looking for a loving furever home.

Story
NUGGET is a brown tabby young adult kitty with dramatic stripes on his legs and tail. He is a charming, smart and energetic boy who likes to be at the center of attention. Nugget enjoys morning cuddles in bed, lap time in the evenings and warming feet overnight. He loves to chase any wand toy offered, and he will play with a wide variety of toys on his own. Nugget is highly intelligent and will work for interactive play. He quickly learned to "boop" a finger with his nose and give high fives. Nugget likes to follow people around and can get underfoot at times. He will likely take some time to warm up in a new home, but is easily brought out of his shell with playtime and treats. Nugget is on a special prescription diet, which he must stay on for life. Once he gets comfortable, you will be rewarded with a sweet boy who will become your devoted companion for life! Nugget is looking for a home with a quieter family who can engage his curious and smart nature Nugget has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. Story
JOHNNY and JACKIE are an adorable bonded pair of teenager siblings who are both short haired brown tabbies. They look like twins, and make such a handsome pair. Johnny, the male, is the more dominant cat, and Jackie, the female, is a bit more hesitant, but both are well socialized and playful. Their pregnant mama was rescued from the post office in Cottage Grove and gave birth soon after. Johnny and Jackie have been fostered since birth and have been fortunate to have loving humans care for them. Johnny and Jackie share a special relationship, and should remain together. They may take some time to warm up, but will blossom in the right home with patience and consistency. Johnny and Jackie both love shoelaces (with a human at the other end) and all kinds of toys. They also love climbing up their cat trees to observe the world. Computer savvy, they are adept at following the cursor around the screen and may enjoy a laser toy or relax in front of some cat videos on You Tube. Now that their siblings have all been adopted, it’s time for Jackie and Johnny to find a permanent home. They will benefit by kind, patient owners who are gentle and consistent. There’s room in their hearts for more love – how about yours? JOHNNY and JACKIE have been altered, vaccinated, microchipped, and are negative for FeLV and FIV. Their adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. The $280 adoption fee (for both cats) allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to Adoptioninfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. ID 2508-C0237 & 2508-C0238.
