Story
Calypso and his siblings were born around March 2025 and rescued from outside by their kind foster parents. He’s a shy boy and is looking for a family willing to give him time to get comfortable in a new home so his sweet nature will come out. He gets along well with other cats and nice small dogs.  The cat adoption fee is $120 (or $190 for two cats). Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Clear Lake Petco (2410 Bay Area Blvd, Houston 77058). If interested in one of our cats please feel free to complete an application, found on our website www.secondchancepets.org, and email it to us at pets2adopt@yahoo.com for pre-review. Story
Hi everyone my name is Coraline and if you’re on the lookout for a cutie pie kitten with lots of pizzazz look no further - I’m here! I was born in May 2025 and was pretty sick when impounded at a crowded shelter. That put me at risk but thankfully my foster mom quickly scooped me up, fixed me up and showered me with affection and good groceries. I’m a social little gal so will tell you all about my day while seeking attention and I get along great with other cats, nice dogs and fun children. As a high-energy kitten I need to have an active kitty buddy to romp with to help keep me out of mischief :) My motto could be “let me entertain you” and if that sounds purrfect for your family I’d love to audition!  The cat adoption fee is $120 (or $190 for two cats). Story
Meet Rosie (formerly Axel Rose)! 🌹 Before we knew this pretty girl was a girl, she was named Axel. Once the secret was out, Axel Rose became Rosie—and honestly, it fits her perfectly. Rosie is a teenager with a big personality, a tiny meow, and one very important love language: food. Churu treats, in particular, have completely won her heart. In fact, if you happen to be holding a Churu, Rosie is suddenly willing to consider just about any of your ideas. Negotiations are her specialty. She was found at an apartment complex and taken in by a kind-hearted person who made sure she was safe, spayed, vaccinated, and ready for a fresh start. Now Rosie is looking for the one thing she hasn’t found yet—a family of her own. Rosie warms up quickly and, once she decides you’re her person, she wants to be wherever you are. That’s why life in the PetSmart condos has been a little tough for her. She’d much rather be curled up beside her favorite human than watching them walk away. When she’s feeling lonely or wants your attention, she’ll let you know with the sweetest little squeaky meow. Rosie is a true female cat—she’s much more interested in people than in making lots of feline friends. Give her a human to love, a cozy spot nearby, and the occasional Churu, and she’s perfectly content. If you’re looking for a loving companion who will follow you around, chat with you about her day, and happily accept payment in Churu treats, Rosie may be your perfect match.   Come meet Rosie. Bring a Churu. She’ll take it from there. ❤️ 🐾🌹
