Story
Tuna is a handsome boy of 3 years and 9 months who recently joined our friends on the Cat Walk with his bonded brother, Chad. While his brother is quite outgoing and really makes his interest in human attention known to anyone he sees, Tuna is a bit on the shyer side. But don't let that fool you, while it may take him a touch longer to get comfortable with new spaces and people, he is a very sweet boy who loves to be pet and receive human affection! These boys were previously in a home with another cat, who they got along with well, and they would make a lovely addition to any home looking for double the kitty love and fun!"We're so excited you're interested in adopting a new furry friend! To help us find the perfect match for you and our animals, we're pre-approving applicants. Here's how it works:Please start by filling out our adoption application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=rz1556&method=online_form_html&formid=6This helps us learn more about you, including which animal you're interested in, your family, any other pets you have, your living situation (owning or renting), and your veterinarian. We understand that if you don't currently have pets, you won't have a vet reference. In that case, we kindly ask for a personal reference instead. Why we ask these questions:We want to make sure we find the best possible fit for both you and the animal. For renters, we need to confirm with your landlord that pets are allowed, as unfortunately, many landlords in Franklin County have restrictions.Checking with your veterinarian helps us ensure that our animals receive the ongoing medical care they deserve. What happens next:Once we receive positive references from your landlord (if applicable) and veterinarian (or personal reference), we'll contact you to schedule an appointment if you're interested in adopting a dog.If you're looking for a feline friend, you're welcome to come in anytime during our open hours!Important information:Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the date your application is approved. We're truly grateful for the overwhelming interest in our animals! Our staff is working diligently to approve applications as quickly as possible. While it may take a few days, most applications are approved sooner.Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to find loving homes for our wonderful animals!"

Story
Chad is a handsome boy of 3 years and 9 months who recently joined our friends on the Cat Walk with his bonded brother, Tuna. Chad is the more outgoing brother, who is eager to greet staff and volunteers and loves pets and human attention! While his brother takes a few minutes to warm up, Chad will make sure you have someone to pet! And honestly, he fine with getting a bit more of the attention, and may even gently demand it once Tuna jumps in for his share! However, Chad really does love his brother and they are often found napping together! These boys did share their previous home with another feline friend, who they got along well with, so they wouldn't necessarily mind another kitty in the home alreadyIf your home and heart has space for double the kitty love, this duo may be the purrfect match for you! We encourage you to apply today!
