Story
Mae is a beautiful, 4-year-old tortie girl. Mae moves through the world like a backcountry traveler—quiet, observant, and deliberate. Give her time, and she’ll reward you with a soft, steady presence and a sweetness that feels earned, not assumed. Tuna and salmon treats are her favorites, and they go a long way toward winning her trust. Mae has a well-documented love of vertical terrain, so a home with drywall ceilings and a tall, sturdy cat tower will help her feel secure and grounded. She does best in a calm, low-traffic environment, gets along well with adult male cats, and would thrive with someone who understands that the best companions don’t rush the bond. If you want to meet Mae, complete an adoption application at queencitycatsvt.org.

Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Lily is a petite and sweet geriatric lady who loves a good cuddle! She warms up to people very quickly and makes sure nobody feels left out - she has plenty of love to go around. Playing with crinkly toys and hunting virtual birds are some of her favorite activities. When you’re doing a task, she loves to "help" get the job done. Computers are especially enticing! She's a brave and easy-going girl, except when it comes to the vacuum cleaner. Despite her age, she can jump and climb, especially when the reward is you. Her meow is quite unique- either silent or like a duck quack when she calls for attention. Lily would be a good fit for someone who is home frequently or has roommates; she loves human company and snuggling in bed with you. If you want to meet Lily, complete an adoption application at queencitycatsvt.org.

Story
Cato is a lanky, 1-year-old orange tabby boy who was found as a stray with his sister. He's a young, large boy who is outgoing with other cats and a little more reserved around people. He prefers a slow approach from strangers, but once he gets to know you he's all snuggles and playtime. Currently residing at @queencitycatlounge , he's enjoying the feline company and human visitors. Cato is often found napping in cozy covered beds, running through crinkle tubes, and chasing after dangly toys and springs. Sudden, loud sounds scare him, so he would be most comfortable in a home without young children. If you'd like to adopt this handsome orange man, fill out an application on our website and stop by the lounge to pay this cutie a visit.
