Story
Violet is the kind if kitty who loves to be near you but doesn't always want to be picked up. She enjoys sitting in the window and watching the birds and lounging on soft things. Violet showed up in a feral cat colony about 3 years ago and the caretaker realized that she was not feral & she was declawed on all four paws. She took her to the shelter which is where Cat's Cradle rescued her and put her in a foster home. Since this is all we know about her, we're not sure exactly how old she is. Now that she is on medication for her hyperthyroidism, she looks and feels much better. Her fur is very soft, and she has gained weight although she will always be a very petite girl with tiny paws. She would do best in a home with no other animals and no small children. She prefers a quiet place where she can be her sweet, introverted self.

Story
***MUST REMAIN AN INDOOR CAT******Local Adoptions Only At This Time***Devon and his siblings are a ton of fun! They are typical curious little kitties. Their mama, Citrine, was the best mom she even took in a kitten that wasn't hers when she was nursing them all! They have been in a foster home, but are now back at the shelter and ready to find their forever families. I am adventurous and curious If you're looking to add a sweet kitty to your family, Devon might be your perfect match!Devon's date of birth is 04/28/2024 and he is available for pre-adoption. That means that he has a couple of vet appointments left to get his final set of vaccines and to get neutered. He can be adopted now, but the new owner will need to take him to those appointments at our vet in Somerville. We will cover the costs of those appointments. If your house is missing a sweet and playful kitty, please submit an adoption application at http://www.fayettefcar.com/applicationform, where you can also review FCAR’s adoption requirements. All FCAR adoptable cats have been spayed or neutered, are current on all vaccines, negative for FIV/Feline Leukemia, on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, microchipped, and come with a 30-day pet health guarantee (local adoptions only.)
