Story
Emma is a very loving cat who enjoys to cuddling only with those deemed worthy of her grace. She is extra sensitive to her territory and does not mingle well with other cats or dogs. She is solitary and may require being the only pet in her new home. She does not require much attention but she does not like to compete for it, either.

Story
Croissant is part of our Career Cat Program! Croissant has been the BEST mama cat through what has surely been the most stressful time of her life. She gave birth at the shelter, and while she was very spicy for vetting, allowed all of us to handle her babies without any difficulty– almost as though she knew we were there to help. In my home, she has continued to want space and will happily hiss at me if she feels I’m encroaching, but I have also seen the most heartwarming progress– just this week, she came out of hiding and sat in the middle of the room while I was there! What a milestone! Even though I’ve only pet her twice, I have fallen so in love with this little cat in her time in my home– gotta respect a lady who knows how to set clear boundaries! Through a very scary period of sickness for her babies and lots of huge changes, she has been such an incredible mother to her kittens, and now I would absolutely love to see a happy ending for her too– whether that be as a barn cat or in a very quiet, very patient home.
