MARY AND PAUL ARE BONDED SIBLINGS AND MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER Paul and Mary came to Peninsula Friends of Animals with their littermates. While all of their siblings have found loving homes, these two are still waiting for theirs. Because they share such a close bond, they must be adopted together.  Paul is a gentle, sensitive boy  who can be a little shy at first, but having Mary by his side gives him the confidence to explore and accept gentle affection. Mary is a loving girl who happily settles in for pets, and before long her purr motor starts rumbling After being moved into a room with two confident, easy-going cats, Paul and Mary are venturing out from their safe spaces and starting to become more adventurous! You can find them lounging in the catio with their friends and they’re lined up at the door at mealtimes! Although on the shyer side (especially Paul), we believe that these siblings will blossom when they’re in a loving home and feel comfortable exploring and bonding to their person/people.  Together, these devoted siblings are hoping to find a quiet forever home where they can continue comforting one another while bringing twice the love to their new family.

Picasso recently came to us after living with a family who realized that their busy home with a high-energy young child wasn't the best match for his personality. Wanting what was best for everyone involved, they made the decision to help him find a home that better suits his needs. Based on what we know so far, Picasso is likely to be happiest in an adult home or one with older children who understand when a cat needs a little personal space. We're still getting to know Picasso, as he's currently spending time in quarantine, but he's already shown us that he's an energetic, playful boy with a sweet, affectionate side. He loves to play and enjoys spending time with people, and we lookay forward to learning even more about his unique personality in the coming days. One thing we're already certain of is just how handsome he is! Picasso has an incredibly soft, silky, glossy coat that's every bit as luxurious as it looks. He's a stunning young cat who's ready to find a home where he can truly thrive.

Mona is one of our two new moms at Safe Haven. She and her friend Flora, also a new mom, had their litters about a month apart. They each had five kittens, and two of Flora’s litter were adopted almost immediately. Now all the kittens are ready for adoption – they are in one of the Safe Haven kitten rooms – and Mona and Flora are downstairs in an adult playroom. Each new mom is ready for her furrever home too, having fulfilled her momly responsibilities and having been assured (via the spay procedure) that she will have her very own human family and won’t need to go through the mom process again! You’ll also get to meet Flora, and say “hi” to any of their respective offspring who are still looking for their own homes.
