Jigs first joined the PFOA family back in 2015, and after many years in a home, he’s found himself back with us through no fault of his own. His beloved person passed away, and now Jigs is looking for a new chapter with someone who truly sees him. This handsome boy has lived his whole life with dogs and absolutely adores them. If you have a friendly pup, Jigs will likely think that’s the best news ever. He’s been an indoor/outdoor kitty (because of his dog friend), though he spends most of his time lounging inside, enjoying the comforts of home. When his person was alive, Jigs was doted on, cherished and spoiled in all the best ways. Over the past year, he’s missed that affection, and you can tell he’s ready to feel treasured again. Let’s spoil him like he deserves! He’s not just looking for a home—he’s looking for a person with a possible cat-friendly dog. Bongo is about 2-3 years old. He came from a community of cats who lived outside on the Peninsula. He’s confident, energetic and full of life. Of course, his personality has definitely been shaped by the time he spent fending for himself ‘round the other cats in the community. And because of this, we’re pretty sure he’ll want to have his new family all to himself. He’s ok with being indoors as long as he can have a nice protected outdoor space, like he has here at Safe Haven. He likes having his own space for a change. And he hasn’t had experience with dogs, so we don’t know how he’d get along with them. The ideal home for him will be one with no small children and no other pets. And he really needs experienced cat people who can speak Cat and understand that Bongo is very unpredictable. So give us a call if you’d like to meet Bongo. We are siblings who were rescued from a situation where our person passed and left behind many, many kitties. Yes, we are a little shy still, but we are not aggressive. We are around 1 1/2 years old. I’m Mary. I love to sit on the floor (or lie down) and get gentle pets. Keep that up, and I’ll start purring! My brothers, Peter and Paul, are also available for adoption. Our secret wish is that someone would adopt all of us together!
