Story
I found Bug in the wheel well of an abandoned car in Hoh rainforest when I was working as a NPS ranger. She was tiny and emaciated - the vet I took her to the same day said she was found in the nick of time (he’s the one who identified her as a Pixiebob). With worming, shots, lots of food and tlc, she has gotten to where she is thriving physically (13-14 lbs). She is still very emotionally needy - loves me and can be affectionate, but she’s very territorial. I have another smaller cat to whom she’s taken an intense dislike, and I fear for the little one’s safety. I believe Bug will do well in a house with adults where she’s the only cat. She doesn’t take to strangers quickly, but when she’s given time she likes to interact with them

Story
Blair is a 1-year-old stray who is still learning that people can be kind and the world can be a safe place. She is fearful and shy, and would do best in a calm, patient environment where she’s allowed to settle in at her own pace. Blair would be well suited for a barn home where she can live safely with minimal expectations while benefiting from shelter, food, and gentle human presence. She may also do well in a quiet indoor home with an experienced adopter who is committed to continuing her socialization using time, patience, and positive reinforcement. While Blair isn’t ready to be a cuddly companion just yet, she has the potential to grow more confident in the right setting. If you have a safe space and a big heart for a cat who needs understanding more than anything, Blair could be the perfect fit. 🐾
