Nika was returned to the shelter due to litter box challenges, but she's ready for a fresh start with a patient and loving family. She is currently on a urinary prescription diet for management, which she will likely need long-term.This sweet senior girl is shy, sensitive, and tends to keep to herself at first. As our longest current shelter resident, we've had the privilege of watching Nika slowly grow more comfortable and confident over time. With patience and understanding, her gentle personality truly shines.Once she feels safe, Nika enjoys soft pets, chin rubs, and especially butt scratches. You may even hear her tiny purr motor start up while she makes the cutest little biscuits. She also loves cozy lap snuggles, where she feels safe, content, and loved.Nika is looking for a quiet, peaceful home where she can continue to blossom at her own pace and finally enjoy the comfort and stability she deserves.
