Meet Summer - A Beautiful Soul Ready for Her Forever Home   Summer is a 3-year-old Plott Hound mix, about 40 pounds, with the sweetest heart and an incredible story of resilience.   She was found as a stray after having puppies and arrived at the shelter absolutely terrified. So frightened that she ended up on the euthanasia list because no one had the chance to see the wonderful dog hiding beneath her fear. We knew she deserved a second chance-and we're so glad we gave her one.   Since coming into foster care, Summer has completely blossomed. Watching her discover what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family has been nothing short of amazing. Her confidence grows every day, and she's embracing this new world with curiosity and excitement.   Summer absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine companion to continue building her confidence. She's now comfortable and trusting with people, enjoys meeting new friends, and has left her fearful shelter days behind.   She's also the total package: o Crate trained o Potty trained o Knows "sit" o Walks beautifully on a leash o Curious, intelligent, and eager to learn   Summer is looking for an active family who will include her in life's adventures. She'd love a home with another dog, children to play with, and plenty of love, patience, and belly rubs. Duffy Girl is a deeply loving, goofy, loyal companion looking for a calm home with an experienced dog owner who can help her feel safe and secure. I adopted her over 5 years ago, and while she’s incredibly sweet, affectionate, house trained, and generally low maintenance, she carries trauma from her early life that has led to fear-based reactivity toward some people and dogs when startled or anxious. Most of the time, Duffy is cuddly, playful, and wonderfully well-behaved. She thrives with routine, patience, and someone who understands anxious dogs and can confidently manage her triggers. As our family prepares for a baby, we know she would do best in a different environment where her needs can come first. This is an incredibly difficult decision made purely out of love for her. We are hoping to find Duffy a compassionate, experienced home where she can continue to feel safe, loved, and understood, rather than face the stress and uncertainty of a shelter.

Hello! My name is Vernors - My mama is a gentle, sweet girl who appears to be a smaller cane corso mix named Cola (hence we are the soda pop litter!). Mama was found very pregnant trying to fend for herself - upon rescue she barely made it to our vet before delivering me and my 7 littermates on Feb 9th! We don't know who daddy is, but my rescue thinks we could be mixed with lab or mountain cur (best guess!). I was adopted as a puppy, but I was more energetic than what they wanted- so they brought me back to the rescue. I am now 5 months old as of July 1st and look like a Mountain cur/Plott hound mix (best guess). I really am a good boy, just need some training so I understand what’s expected of me. As I am a big, energetic boy, I would do best with someone/a family who is active as well. I’d love to go on adventures with you!My $350 adoption fee includes vet check, up to date vaccines, deworming, microchip and spay/neuter at one of my rescues vets (Fort Myers, Naples, Miami, Orlando or Port Charlotte) when I am at least 6 months old.
