Currently located at our Evansville, IN location Meet Dessie! Dessie is a 4-year-old Plott Hound mix weighing around 50 lbs. This beautiful girl is as sweet as they come — gentle, calm, and full of quiet affection. Dessie does well with other dogs and enjoys their company, especially if they match her laid-back vibe. While we’re still learning about her compatibility with cats and kids, her soft demeanor suggests she may do well in a patient, understanding home that gives her time to adjust. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a heart of gold, Dessie might just be your perfect match. Story
Tio was abandoned with a bag of dog food at a cemetery. He has been a friendly boy to everyone at the shelter and seems to know some basic commands such as sit. He is somewhere between 1 and 2 years old. He seems to do well with other dogs here but we would want to do a meet and greet with other dogs in the home.
