Story
Mocha is such a goofy playful girl! Her goal in life is to make you smile and she will succeed! She would be a perfect family dog or great for a committed first-time dog owner. We introduced Mocha to several dogs in a playgroup and she was a little shy at first, but quickly warmed up! She was so very playful with the other dogs and has the silliest play bow. Mocha loved running around and she even got into the pool and was splashing around wiggling her butt she was so happy. She would love a canine sibling to play with! Watch her play with other dogs: https://youtu.be/EjQdTBnho7E She loves human affection and is not shy of meeting strangers, she will give kisses, nuzzle, and loves belly rubs. She is a social butterfly and will walk up to everyone in the room to say hello and get pets. Mocha is great in the car and loves to put her whole head out of the window to get all the smells! Mocha was a mama dog from outside of Houston. She came into the shelter with one puppy who already has a home, so it is Mocha's turn to be spoiled! She is getting ready for adoption and should be ready to join a new home in the PNW in late September! Mocha is in a boarding facility while she waits for his perfect home, so her family will likely need to put in some training for her to be a perfect housemate! She is worth it though! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! Story
Meet Duchess! She is a gorgeous plott hound/rottie mix who would make an excellent addition to a home. She is gentle, striking, cuddly, and gives lots of kisses. She can be shy at first but once she warms up she is a lovebug! Duchess loves other dogs and would do best in a home with another pup to play with and help her gain confidence. She loves to play and matches energy well! She did not show any signs of resource guarding or prey drive with us. Duchess is submissive with people and shows a high trainability - she loves food and is receptive to verbal corrections. Duchess is currently in boarding while she finds her forever home, so she may need patience as she adapts to a home environment. We think she is worth it! Meet ember rose! Her smile is beautiful and her orange stripes shine in the sun. She is a 2 years old and weighs 45lbs. She is Plot hound/lab mix who was pulled from a kill shelter in Brazoria county, Tx. Ember is confident and playful! When approached by other dogs she was relaxed and wagged her tail. She has done well on the leash and is getting all the basic dog training and socialization at her fosters. Story
This big, handsome boys name is Mace! Mace is an approximately two year old Plott Hound who LOVES hiking and soaking up all the smells in the forest. He will need some basic obedience training but he is a sweet, young boy who has many Hound tendencies. Due to his history he has the tendency to guard his food however in the right setting he has potential to be a wonderful companion. He could possible live with a submissive dog with a proper introduction but his prey drive is too strong to live with cats. He would also do well with teenage children that are used to large dogs. Please visit the following link on our website to learn about Second Chance's adoption process. http://www.2ndchanceanimalcenter.org/adoption.html June 17, 2025, 11:57 am

Story
Our names are Andre (light colored brindle) and Serena (dark colored brindle). We were rescued with our three other siblings from a kill shelter. Can you believe we got lucky enough to get a chance to find a family to love and take care of us? We are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines. We took a long ride with many other dogs to a new place to live. Happy we have each other. We are really close. When our foster mom picked us up we were so scared. We huddled together as far back in the car as we could go. She talked to us on the ride home, but we were unsure of her. It’s been about two months with our foster mom and we came out of our shells and play with her and her other dogs. We are just loving life. We are very friendly and sweet. We are good with kids, people and other dogs. There is a kitty that lives here too that we want to get up close to but she gets hissy. We love to eat…..as we have grown so much. Our foster mom feeds us in our crates. We will steal the other dogs  food if she isn’t watching. We are crate trained. We sleep in our crates at night, take naps in our crates and go in the crate when mom can’t watch us. Since we’re still puppies and learning, we are interested in everything. Especially stuff on the kitchen counter.  We think mom leaves us stuff on the counter as chew toys. She says we are a bit like having a couple toddlers around. We are pretty much potty trained with few accidents. We do love playing with toys. Love fetching them. Mom calls Andre a hyena because his coat has similar colors. But Andre is waaaayyyy cuter. Especially when looking up at you with puppy dog eyes. She calls me pretty girl and sometimes brat because I tease her little terrier and love to try and explore under the deck where I shouldn’t be. I walk well on a leash though. Andre needs more practice. Please share so we can find a home.
