This beautiful girl is Gracieand she is social, friendly, funny, playful, smart and affectionate! She loves to play with her resident pup- running, wrestling, sharing toys- and has learned how to dog! Gracie would love another dog but she would be ok on her own too as long as she has socializing opportunities (doggie daycare, playdates etc) Gracie loves meeting new people and getting pets and scratches! Any stuffed toy is her favorites plus good boys to chew! Gracie is a smart cookie, she especially enjoys puzzle toys and stuffed toys where you can put smaller toys inside. She has learned the house routine and has nice house manners. She is learning to walk on a leash- she enjoys getting out and exploring and is learning that she can be chill when she sees another pup. Gracie is goofy- she hiccups when excited and makes other cute sounds! This beauty is ready to bring fun, adventure and love into your world! Meet Spencer (""Spence"")! Spence is a five-month-old mixed-breed puppy with a heart full of love and a personality that's equal parts sweet, silly, and adventurous. With his adorable floppy ears and goofy antics, he's guaranteed to keep you laughing while also being your favorite cuddle buddy. This handsome boy loves staying active and getting his puppy energy out through walks, playtime, treat puzzles, and adventures. He's a big fan of toys and will happily chase one across the yard—he's still working on the ""bringing it back"" part of fetch, but his enthusiasm more than makes up for it! Spence also enjoys playing with other dogs and is always ready for some fun. Spence is very food and treat motivated, which makes training a fun experience for both him and his people. He's currently learning his name and making great progress with potty training. He sleeps through the night in his crate and is starting to let his foster family know when he needs to go out during the day by heading to the door. While the crate isn't his favorite place, Spence does well in it during the day. As long as he's had a good walk, some playtime, or a chance to burn off energy first, he settles down quickly and is usually happy to curl up for a nap. When he's not playing, Spence loves soaking up attention and pets. He's been around children ages 2–12 and has done well. He's also an adventurous pup who enjoys car rides, boat rides, and splashing around in the water. Spence is looking for a family that will embrace his playful spirit, continue his training, and give him all the love and adventures he deserves. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick with a goofy personality, floppy ears, and lots of affection to give, Spence might just be your perfect match! Story
Cooper is a social, energetic 7 year old Lab/Plott hound mix. Weighs approximately 71 pounds. He is friendly, playful and outgoing. He is receptive to verbal commands and is eager to please. He is learning not to jump up to greet you. He has a soft, affectionate side as well. Like most dogs, he just wants to be near you. No catsFoster update: Are you looking for a companion to adventure with? A loyal side kick who will always be at your side? Someone who will follow you to the ends of the Earth? Look no further, because you just described Cooper! Copper is a young adult Tennessee Brindle Dog mix. To him there is no such thing as a stranger - only best friends he hasn't met yet. He's a happy go lucky guy who just wants to be involved in whatever his family is doing, whether it's a hike in a park or hanging on the couch watching a movie. He is an active boy though, who needs daily exercise and a firm yet gentle hand to set boundaries for him. He really wants to be a good boy, he just needs to know what to do! Cooper is house trained and crate trained. He does well with most dogs (some large males he doesn't like), but needs someone who is okay with his rough and tumble style of play. He is currently fostered with cats and does okay with them, though occasionally chases them if he gets excited. He is still working on his manners and does well most of the time, but sometimes a new visitor or some food too close to the edge of the counter is too much temptation for him to not hop up for. He knows "sit", and we're working on "down" and leash manners. Cooper has the potential to be a stellar family dog for someone who is willing to continue teaching him - is Fee waived____Please Note: We ask that an application be filled out before coming to the shelter. If pre approved, a meeting with the animal will be set up.
