Meet Summer - a true survivor! We saved this sweet girl just an hour before she was scheduled for euthanasia. And thank goodness, because she is pure love — gentle, loyal, and so deserving. Now, she’s thriving in foster and ready for her forever home! Here is what we have learned of Summer so far: * 45 lbs of pure sweetness (on the smaller side) * Loves other dogs (especially the little ones!) and cat friendly * Potty trained & loves her cozy dog beds (and snoring, ha) * Snuggle queen Summer is a little shy when meeting new people, but with a soft voice and a bit of patience, she’ll warm up and show you just how lovable she really is. Once she feels safe, her cuddly and playful side shines! Summer is ready to keep making doggy friends, go on fun adventures, and snuggle up on the couch with her future forever family. **We are unable to respond to inquiries on Adopt-A-Pet. Information: Duke was surrendered to the shelter due to owner no longer being able to care for him. He has been a nervous but sweet guy here at the shelter. Please go slow with him and give him soace if he is not wanting attention. Let him come to you. Duke is said to have been a farm dog and is use to being able to run. He was an indoor dog and use to being inside and is said to be mostly house broke with occasional accidents. He knows several commands and walks fairly well on the leash. The shelter provides a 5-day health guarantee for adopted animals. This includes health conditions not present or known about by the shelter at the of adoption, which adopter becomes aware of within 5 days. Injuries or accidents that occur at the adopter's home are not covered. The shelter is not responsible for incurred costs from local veterinarians due to non-compliance. ALL adoptions are final! Animals can be returned to the shelter for any reason, however, there are NO refunds or exchanges.
