Hugh was owner surrendered to us.  He is super sweet and playful and seems to get along with other dogs.   He does not like men however.    video included of him playing with his buddy Mia est dob 9/24/16 The standard adoption fee is $200, but it may vary depending on the situation and the animal. This includes vetting such as shots, spaying or neutering, microchipping, deworming, and heartworm testing if the animal is over six months of age. Please note****  We are a volunteer organization.  Adoption events are held every Saturday 10-2 at our facility located st 2049 Badin Rd.  Most of our animals are in foster homes.  Please contact the foster if you would like to meet one of our rescues.   You may complete an application for approval to start the adoption process at www.stanlycountyhumanesociety.org, under the 'Adoption' tab. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Skye is a 6 year old Plott hound/Boxer mix, she weighs 45 pounds.   Skye has a home but they can't bring her inside right now and she really wants to be with her people.  Skye is great with other dogs and kids, but she can jump high so really small kids would need to be watched.   When she gets to her forever home Skye will need some help with potty training, since she has been outside a lot.  This girl has a very sweet personality and deserves to live her senior years the best way possible.   Please fill out an application from our website if you would like to meet Skye.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 21, 2025, 1:55 pm
