Meet Fresca, a bright, bouncy hound mix who loves being outdoors and would happily spend her day sunbathing, chewing on sticks, exploring the yard, or keeping an eye on the local squirrel population. Fresca enjoys playing with her foster dog friends, especially pups her size or larger who can keep up with her enthusiastic play style. She's still learning that smaller dogs may not appreciate her signature bounce, but her intentions are always friendly. When the fun is over, Fresca settles beautifully in her crate. She's been accident-free, sleeps quietly through the night, and is happy to entertain herself with a few favorite toys. She's doing well with her house manners, will often let you know when she needs to go outside, and comes when called. She's also working on learning "sit" and has shown that she's a smart girl who enjoys learning new things. Like many hounds, Fresca loves to follow her nose on walks. All dogs 7 years and older are free under our Saving Seniors program. He knows to get lots of love he needs to sit and not jump up on people. Buster is also learning to go potty outside. Maya is total heart dog material. She is super easy - House trained, crate trained, quiet, snuggly, and loves other dogs. She will rub up against you like a cat asking for pets. Maya is a conniseur of cuddles and has the softest face and ears (I don’t know why but they’re velvet and so squishy!). She’s a good medium energy level - Happy to nap the day away with you inside but will play with the other dogs if they want to! It takes her about 3 days to fully adjust to a new home, but having other dogs around gave her so much confidence and now she walks through doorways without issue and knows where her kennel is! Her only vice? She’s a kleptomaniac and might steal your shoes or other random articles of clothing you let lay around.
