Hugh was owner surrendered to us.  He is super sweet and playful and seems to get along with other dogs.   He does not like men however.    video included of him playing with his buddy Mia est dob 9/24/16 The standard adoption fee is $200, but it may vary depending on the situation and the animal. This includes vetting such as shots, spaying or neutering, microchipping, deworming, and heartworm testing if the animal is over six months of age. Please note****  We are a volunteer organization.  Adoption events are held every Saturday 10-2 at our facility located st 2049 Badin Rd.  Most of our animals are in foster homes.  Please contact the foster if you would like to meet one of our rescues.   You may complete an application for approval to start the adoption process at www.stanlycountyhumanesociety.org, under the 'Adoption' tab. I have to rehome my dog because she is aggressive to cats and I have allot of cats and its making me live in a state of fear because she has killed my cats in the past. Other than that problem she has never been aggressive to anyone she is very calm and sweet and likes to play with chew toys I wouldn't want her around any small pets or children but she is great for anyone who needs company and doesn't have kids or other small pets

It's so hard to believe this boy was once at risk of euthanasia due to lack of space at the city shelter. About Drax: 1.5 year old neutered male plott hound mix microchipped, UTD on Preventatives & Vaccines Received Proheart injection (good for 1 year of HW protection) Professionally trained (Knows all basic commands) Has great recall! Potty/Crate Trained Dog/Cat Friendly Kid Friendly (best with older kids due to his energy level) Loves to swim! Would excel in many dog sports! Drax is overall a sweet, cuddly, smart, and active boy! He is currently fostered in Columbia SC Transport is available to anywhere in NC/SC
