Meet Declan Declan is a striking black brindle hound with energy to spare and a nose made for adventure! True to his hound nature, he loves following scents and exploring the world around him, making every walk or playtime an exciting adventure. This high-energy boy has tested well with other dogs, showing he can be a friendly and social companion. Declan is looking for an active home where he can channel his curiosity and zest for life into games, walks, and plenty of playtime. If you’re ready for a loyal, playful, and spirited hound to keep you on your toes, Declan might just be your perfect match! Declan is in our Mutts with Manners training program! This program gives our residents more enrichment and a chance to truly shine outside the shelter—showing who they are beyond the cards that they have been dealt. Declan is a blue star meaning he has just entered the program and is working on basic commands as well as leash manners!

Honey is a gentle girl who recently arrived from St. Thomas with her friend Miley. She’s a little shy as she adjusts to her new surroundings, but you can see how much she craves love and attention—she just needs a patient hand to help her feel confident. Honey feels most at ease around other dogs, especially Miley, who gives her a sense of familiarity and comfort. With a calm, understanding home, Honey will continue to grow in confidence and show her sweet, affectionate side. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted, gentle companion who will warm up with love and patience, Honey is ready to find her forever home

Story
Due to be becoming pregnant and having to move I unfortunately have to re-home Tokyo. I got her back in January from the local shelter and she has been the most amazing addition to our family. She is a ball full of energy who loves to play and run around but also loves to snuggle at night. She is fully house trained but loves going outside or playing at the park with her friends. She has a goofy personality, loves people and other dogs. It breaks my heart to have to find her another home and the last thing I want to do is have to bring her back to the shelter, I’m looking for a forever home for her with a family who can keep up with her and give her the love that she deserves!
