This sweet loving mama after being found under a single wide trailer with her one pup was brought to a shelter where she proceeded to break out. When they found her again, she had 3 more puppies with her. That is when she came to us along with her litter. She has been getting extra food as she was so thin. Even with the extra food, she has broken out of her enclosure in search of food. This is not to say she wants to run away as she is just hungry and always comes back to her babies. She has been a good mother and a loving and sweet disposition.

As a proud graduate of the Paws in Prison Program, Poppy is also very well-trained and ready to bring calm companionship to her forever home. If you're looking for a mellow, affectionate pup to share quiet moments and cozy evenings, Poppy might just be your perfect match.
