Bruce is appx 2 year old Plott Hound mix.  He weighs appx 65 lbs.  Bruce somehow found himself lost and lonely and was taken in by some very nice people.  He is a beautiful boy and is truly a gentle giant! Bruce is house trained and crate trained.  He is a medium energy young man that gets along well with the other dog in his foster home.  He loves play time outside, as well as being a snuggly couch potato. Bruce is learning to walk on leash, but still pulls some and needs a little training.  He loves to ride in a car.  He likes carrots and ice cubes.  He loves to look out the window and will do that for hours.  He recently spent some time boarding and was a favorite with the staff.  He even spent some time with children of the staff and was super gentle and nice with them.     Bruce is not fond of cats, so no feline siblings for Bruce.  He would probably do best with another gentle, playful dog of same size.  He would be fine being the only dog and always center of attention too!  Older children might be best, but only because of his size.     If you are looking for a best friend and/or family member to run, hike, play, explore, and then curl up for some couch time, Bruce is your guy!  He is so beautiful.  Absolutely stunning! ##1995120##

Waylon has been with Bonaparte's for just a short time and he was a pull because he had an undiagnosed medical issue that was causing weight loss and other GI issues. He has since been diagnosed with P erianal Fistula Disease along with some rectal polyps. This is a condition where basically the immune system is attacking his rectum and flare ups can be caused by severe allergies to food. Waylon has been on meds for several days now and continues to improve every day! This boy LOVES to eat so changing him to his new prescription diet food of Hills D/D Salmon & Potatoes has been very easy to do! This same food is also his treats but he seems to love it along with some canned of the same to give him something a little  different in his day, He will need to be on a special very regulated diet for life.  &#226&#128&#139Now on to his personality...and boy does he have it! Waylon is just THE SWEETEST boy and has had no problems at all settling in to his foster's home. He has been sleeping in a crate or a bed in the living room and is very happy in both places. He could probably be left out in a home when people leave but we have been trying to regulate his potting as we monitor that going through his healing. He is just sweet as can be and knows several cues already including sit, shake and we are working on off as he is a hugger! He is just full of such joy! &#226&#128&#139We will continue to update you more on Waylon but he will not be available for adoption until we can get him healed a bit more but he is going to make THE BEST BOY for a family!!!May 13, 2024, 7:41 pm

Meet Tilly, she's a bit quirky at first but let me tell you about how amazing she is if you give her a little time to get to know you. She's a cuddle bug and loves to sleep right next to you at night. When you come home, Tilly is so excited her wiggle butt makes her whole body shake side to side. She's crate trained, housebroken, plays well with other dogs, and great on walks. She knows sit, down, stay and her release word. Loves to carry a stuffed animal around with her, she will need a few as some will not last very long. Tilly loves to chew on empty water bottles she steals from her foster sister. She signals at the back door to let you know she needs to potty and will sunbathe outside when you let her. The quirky, she needs time to get to know you. She is nervous around new people. Will need a slow intro to her new family with older kids. Tilly doesn't like fast movements when she is anxious until she finally warms up to you. Tilly is a local adoption only. Hi my name is Loki. In Norse Mythology I would be considered a wily trickster of a God and in the Marvel Universe I would be a shapeshifting time bender and also a wily trickster. I love my name but I'm no trickster. I'm just a regular dog that loves all kinds of things like hanging with people, walking and sniffing the trails, making a fun run for a pup cup or chicken nuggets. Normal things like that. I'm not gonna lie I don't love the get up I'm pictured in but I am an incredibly good sport and I do love to please. At 6 years old I stopped worrying about looking silly and I actually don't mind wearing a sweater or fun jammies every once in awhile. I hope my new family likes all those things too. I can't wait to meet my new family. They will see I am a super fun and well mannered guy that likes all the things - no shape shifting time bending for me. Nope I'm just a regular dog.
