Laverne is a gorgeous brown brindle female Plott Hound. She's just nine months old and weighs 29 pounds. She's got long legs and a great little personality. Laverne is looking for a Foster to Adopt situation since she is heart worm positive and will need meds and monitoring for a period of time before she's ready for a full adoption. Shirley is a nine-month-old brindle Plott Hound. She and her littermate, Laverne, were found in the Tallassee area all on their own. She is leash trained and good with other dogs. Will most likely grow into a smart and loving companion dog as is typical of this breed. She's a trim 25 pounds and pretty chill for a puppy. Come meet Shirley!

Tigger is a 10.5 year old plott hound mix. He’s a very sweet boy who loves chin scratches and lounging in the sun. Still has plenty of energy for his age. We are trying to rehome because he needs more attention than we can give him. He is also not a fan of children and we have two.

Have you seen my Eeyore?? I mean, searching all over and he seems to be hiding from me!! Tigger is the name and I do NOT bounce on my tail but honestly, my tail is LONG enough to accomodate me :) I was found with my friend, Honey, left on a country road alone and scared we were. A towel, bowl of water and some food were left for us but we were still out on a country road with NO HOPE!! So, I failed to mention that our "owner" left us on a road, less than 1 mile from the rescue............. SO, you know what happened, right?? Those rescue people saw us, as they were leaving from the rescue, and..... YOU GUESSED IT!!! They SAVED US!! We are the sweetest and nicest pair, we love our people now and no we don't have to be adopted together:) I am a happy happy guy, love to play and run and hang out and PLAY. I am a young and healthy guy, will make someone a great buddy- fun for life!! If you want a loving buddy and a happy life... ADOPT ME!!! SO MANY LIVES DEPEND ON ADOPTION!! Waylon has been with Bonaparte's for just a short time and he was a pull because he had an undiagnosed medical issue that was causing weight loss and other GI issues. He has since been diagnosed with P erianal Fistula Disease along with some rectal polyps. This is a condition where basically the immune system is attacking his rectum and flare ups can be caused by severe allergies to food. Waylon has been on meds for several days now and continues to improve every day! This boy LOVES to eat so changing him to his new prescription diet food of Hills D/D Salmon & Potatoes has been very easy to do! This same food is also his treats but he seems to love it along with some canned of the same to give him something a little  different in his day, He will need to be on a special very regulated diet for life.  &#226&#128&#139Now on to his personality...and boy does he have it! Waylon is just THE SWEETEST boy and has had no problems at all settling in to his foster's home. He has been sleeping in a crate or a bed in the living room and is very happy in both places. He could probably be left out in a home when people leave but we have been trying to regulate his potting as we monitor that going through his healing. He is just sweet as can be and knows several cues already including sit, shake and we are working on off as he is a hugger! He is just full of such joy! &#226&#128&#139We will continue to update you more on Waylon but he will not be available for adoption until we can get him healed a bit more but he is going to make THE BEST BOY for a family!!!April 29, 2024, 10:44 am
