Poppy just came to us so we are still getting to know her at this time. So far we know she is a happy sweet girl but will need time to adjust to a home. Remember Noah? Noah came to us from our local shelter, where he spent about 4 months there hiding under his dog bed! Now, he's thriving in a life-saving, foster home! Noah is a petite, plott hound mix who weighs about 35-40 pounds and is about 2-3years old. He's still scared of loud noises and needs a securely fenced yard and a least one other playful dog for him to be comforted by. Noah loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home. He is crate trained and building confidence every day but will need a patient family who understands that he is going to be scared when he moves to a new home. Noah is a special guy who deserves the best of furEVER homes! And we are ready to help him find it! Can you be the happy ending that Noah has been waiting for? Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster-based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
