Story
My daughter got this little guy, and loved him for a few months then moved in. Her new apartment complex does not allow pets over 25 pounds. They did not tell her that before she signed her contract. So we have the dog trying to find him a good home he is a love bug and loves to cuddle loves walks. He is crate, trained, and knows basic commands. He absolutely loves people. He won’t bark at them when they walk up to him. He just wags his tail and wants to be loved. We would be keeping him ourselves if it wasn’t for the fact that we have two dogs that are both 13 years old and they just physically cannot handle the puppy. He wants to play and they want to sleep..

Story
Meet Olivia, a gentle senior sweetheart with a story written softly in every strand of her fur. Her coat, beautifully weathered, reflects a life full of quiet adventures and moments that have shaped her into the calm, soulful companion she is today. There’s something truly special about Olivia — she has a way of making the world feel a little slower, a little softer, just by being in it. On leash, Olivia is a dream, strolling gracefully by your side without a hurry in the world. She loves to pause, sniff, and let the breeze drift through her fur, savoring each moment along the way. Now, Olivia is looking for a forever family to spend the rest of her days with — a loving home where she can feel safe, cherished, and at peace. In return, she offers a steady, gentle presence and a heart full of quiet, unconditional love. Olivia is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. You can meet her in person at CASPCA 12pm-6pm daily, or please email adoptions@caspca.org for more info!

Story
Apollo is a ten year old lab mix with a heart as big as his name. This sweet boy is the perfect mix of calm and affectionate and he’s ready to find a forever home where he can truly shine. Apollo loves looking out windows, car rides, walks, cuddles, playing fetch (which he adores), pup cups, and he’s always happiest when he’s spending time with his people. He’s good with dogs/cats/kids and would do best in a home where people are around to spend time with him. He’s already house-trained, and he’s eager to keep learning—especially if treats are involved! Apollo is a loyal companion who will greet you with tail wags and a smile every single day. If you’re looking for a dog who will bring love, fun, and companionship into your life, Apollo might just be your perfect match. 💛 Come meet Apollo and see if he’s the missing piece in your family!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Little Swirl lived her whole first year wild on a construction site. She was born to a mama dog that took up residence and interacted with the workers from a young age, but was never leashed or contained or travelled. So she had limited experiences. She found her way to us after management insisted the dogs find homes and be removed from the construction site. It took a couple weeks to catch Little Swirl but we did and surprisingly she settled into a home relatively quickly. She does not like to be acknowledged. She will lay near you and come to you for food/treats, but she generally prefers if you pretend she isn't there. If you acknowledge her then she will leave and lay somewhere further away for a while. This doesn't mean she doesn't enjoy pets and attention on occasion, but she will let you know if she is seeking this small amount of affection by smelling your hand or booping you. Even though she is requesting attention, she still wishes for it to be minimal and it is simply a gift on her part that you should be ever thankful for. She LOVES other dogs and will settle in quickly with them, she loves to play and can play a bit rough but she is learning when she is being too much and dialing it back. She scares easy, so she is quick to squeal over the smallest things, but thank goodness this only happens about once a day. She has done well with cats overall in her foster home and there are no real complaints, but the cats do startle her at times and she will yelp even if they dont touch her. Due to her nervous behavior, she is never going to be a dog who travels well or enjoys walking but we will start trying to work with her and show her it can be a good thing. She also needs to be in a home with no children OR children over 10 years old who understand that she is a dog that prefers her space and will nip if cornered or restrained. She is a really sweet girl and her looks can melt your heart if you dont mind a cuddly dog that doesn't like being touched unless on her terms.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 28, 2026, 8:17 pm
