Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Vikki (bragincinfo@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Kendall was rescued from Lee County VA. She is about 3 months old & so sweet! She gets along with dogs, cats and kids. She is working on basic manners, leash walking and crate training. Kendall is a sweet, loving, goofy, wond4erful pup.  She has learned a few commands already in less than a week.  She’s sleeping through the night in her crate, and is great about going potty outside and not in the house even at her young age.  She picks up on routine quickly, loves lounging time with her people, and is very even tempered.  She’s great with adults, kids, other dogs, and our cat who has been getting nosy when she’s resting in her crate and she’s totally unphased. (see video)   Her biggest challenge is when she has to be alone, she doesn’t like not being with her people.  She does seem to be the kind of pup who has her one favorite person (she will whine a bit longer at night before settling down for sleep, about 15 mins, if I’m not in the room sleeping with her, but eventually she does settle down with my daughter.  She’s sleeping crated in her room nightly). However, she’s attentive to every human who is hanging with her for meal time, outside/leash time, chill time, etc and sits for treats and is working on sitting for putting her leash on, though we still have lots of excited wiggles when it’s outside time.    She’s started playing over the last couple days.  She will take her stuffed ice cream cone and throw it in the air and chase it around and roll around with it which is adorable.  She tuckers herself out and takes a nap.  She loves chewing on a split antler we have, it’s her favorite chew.  She will speak up when we’re outside and someone walks by, especially with another pup friend, but she does not pull or lunge or otherwise try to run at other pups or people at all, she sticks with her person and says her piece and responds well if we say that’s enough now.  She made herself at home quickly, she’s definitely a home/family dog at heart.  Knows where to go in and out, does her business in her identified spots, and heads to the door like “ok, time for the couch and my people and toys again!”   We also took her to my son’s baseball game last Thursday and she did amazing.  Very well behaved, no jumping or pulling at anyone or any other pups there, chilled out next to us or in my lap while we watched the game and my daughter and her friend took her for a couple quick walks around the complex and she was happy as could be.  She was very popular and was calm but wiggly butted for all the pets and love, very well behaved.  We didn’t have a single worry or indication of her escalating into any negative behaviors at all.  When traveling she sits on the floor between the two middle row seats and rests her chin on the center console of the front.  It’s adorable. To meet Kendall email bragincinfo@gmail.com her adoption fee is $350 and includes age appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip & spay. She is about 3 months old & so sweet! She gets along with dogs, cats and kids & loves the water. She is working on basic manners, leash walking and crate training. Her favorite chew is a split elk antler & she will play with pretty much any kind of toy. She will even entertain herself and go pull toys out of the toy box & sit down to play with it or chew quietly. She VERY much loves to be with her people! She will choose to sit by the door you just went through until you come back instead of play with the other dogs. She is currently crated when unsupervised during the day and will settle in and quietly spend time in her crate while your gone. If she can see you she cannot settle down in her crate. She is very independent & would be fine as an only dog. She sleeps in the bed with the other dogs and her foster at night & sleeps all night with no accidents. Story
Meet Goose – the handsome, 10 month old, Plott Hound mix, who is quite an interesting guy.  The breed itself, is the official State Dog of North Carolina and what an honor!  In one North Carolina county there are two Plott Hounds that are Commissioned Deputies.  To be honest we can’t say that Goose is a Barney Fife, because this boy is extremely intelligent, loyal, calm and affectionate.  Our handsome Goose loves the outdoors and is open for any adventure or hiking trail that you want to conquer.  His owner moved and unfortunately the landlord said; “no dogs”, so it was NO GOOSE.  He is in a loving foster home right now, but he needs a safe haven of his own to call home.  Goose is excellent with children, very trustworthy, and is a great and loving family companion.  He is still a baby (under a year) and looking for that family to grow up with.  Goose has been neutered, UTD on all shots, HW prevention and microchipped.  He weighs roughly 45 pounds, and still has some growing to do and probably another 10 pounds will be the additional weight.  Wait until you meet him in person – his pictures do not do him justice as his coat is stunningly rippled with the unique brindle coloring that everyone’s eye is drawn to when in a crowd.  He is a standout in every way as a dog and as a wonderful personality.  If you are interested please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Tell us where you live please.   PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 29, 2023, 9:54 pm
