You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Update on Mason! Mason is currently in FOBCAS foster care. Mason’s foster Mom says he is doing great! “Mason was really skiddish at first, didn’t want to walk in the house, wouldn’t move off the couch, etc. but in the last couple days he’s really warmed up. He now walks all around the house and plays with one of my dogs. He walks around the fenced area by himself and comes up to the door when he’s ready to come back inside. He loves the kids and is always wagging his tail when they’re around/petting him.  He also loves to cuddle and be close when we’re laying down.” Mason is learning what it’s like to be a house dog now. We imagine he was discarded because he does not want to hunt. Mason is going to be an amazing addition to some lucky family.  For more information please email us at fobcasfriends@gmail.com. Poppy just came to us so we are still getting to know her at this time. So far we know she is a happy sweet girl but will need time to adjust to a home. Nala is a sweet and affectionate 3-yr-old Plott Hound mix w/a stunning brindle coat and a heart full of love. Weighing around 50 lbs, she is currently thriving in a foster home while she waits for her forever family. Nala is searching for a new home after being hit by a car and medically surrendered. As a result of her injuries, her front leg was amputated but don't let that fool you. Nala doesn't let it slow her down at all. She absolutely loves being outside and will happily run, play, and explore whenever she gets the chance. When playtime is over, Nala's all about cuddles. She loves curling up beside her foster family, soaking up attention, & enjoying plenty of belly rubs. She bonds deeply with her people and would do best as the only animal in the household, as she prefers to have all the love and attention to herself. Mikey is a big chunk of a boy, he is approx. 75-80 lbs. He is a quiet boy and very neat. He will be available for adoption on 7-20-25. Visit him at the Rockbridge Spca or email manager@rockbridgespca.net heartworm tested: negative visit our fb page: dogs of rockbridge and rockbridge spca. NOTE: all animals adopted are taken straight to a local veterinarian for spay/neuter. We do adopt out of area providing adopter is will to make more than one trip. There are NO exceptions, and we do not hold animals. All Kittens and puppies must weigh 2 lbs. for surgery and there are a limited number of veterinarians in our area that will do a pediatric spay/neuter. please note the Rockbridge Spca does not have emotional support animals or service animals. we do not adopt to college students, however, they are welcome to volunteer.
