Story
Shredder may have a fierce name, but this little guy is really just a goofy, lovable puppy who lives for playtime and attention. This Catahoula Leopard Dog and Pitbull mix boy is around four months old and full of personality. First things first, you should definitely watch their video: https://youtu.be/J-CijmQWwyA?si=ktlOgEK9YNi9Of5m It perfectly captures their playful, silly puppy energy. Shredder is very, very extremely playful and loves wrestling and tumbling around with his siblings. Their games can get pretty wild, and they actually play pretty rough with each other in that joyful puppy way. Because of that, they need to go with owners who will be good and ready to help guide them as they grow. Shredder is the kind of puppy who seems to wake up excited about life. Every toy is the best toy ever. Every room is a new place to explore. Every sibling is a potential wrestling partner. He’s playful, curious, and always ready for a good time, but he also has a very sweet side. He enjoys attention from people and will happily soak up pets when he’s taking a break from his busy puppy schedule. Shredder will do best in a home ready for an active, playful puppy and excited about helping him grow into the wonderful dog he’s meant to be. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Jennie has recently just won the award for best hugs. She puts her front legs around you and if for some reason she can’t give you a full on hug, she will just wrap her little paws around your arm, looking deeply into your eyes. Don’t believe us? Guess you will just have to find out for yourself when you come to meet her! Jennie is dog friendly, cat tolerant, and most of all a people lover, kids included! People are just her favorite! She is very timid and loves a calm environment so we could see her in a quiet home with a solid everyday routine! Jennie is even cat friendly! Are you ready to meet Jennie (Huggie)? Here she is! Meet Jennie here: https://youtu.be/odtLFfKUIJ0?si=qslLtgsCLKDyKhrE Jennie is a goofy girl who loves to bounce bounce bounce from one person to the next, looking for her next hug. She has been around kids as young as 4 years old to 11 years old and you guessed it, she was a huggie girl with them too. She definitely gravitated toward the Elijah, the 11 year old and was so happy sitting next to him, giving him sweet kisses, and inching herself closer for hugs. Even for snuggles on the floor, she loved being snuggled by Elijah and really enjoyed being around his calm energy. She did great with Kobe, the 4 year old too, she just definitely had a favorite. It didn't bother her when Kobe was jumping around, tossing toys, making loud noises or even moving fast unexpectedly, she just sat next to Elijah, watched him, and then went out of her way to go give Kobe a little kiss. Jennie would be a great companion for a family with 1-2 kids, and would be happiest with both kids little bit older or similar to Elijah and Kobe's age difference. She appreciates the way older kids give her a little space to open up and even more so when even smaller humans are around, you know to teach them the ropes sorta thing. She let them dress her up, put silly bunny ears on her, and headbands. One thing that was super cute and she kept on doing, was she kept coming back to Elijah and laying her head on the pillow right next to him! It was so sweet! This girl is definitely ready for movie nights! Her gentle approach with younger kids can even be said with other doggy pals, so we can see her with a more calm sibling that keeps to themselves or maybe even being your one and only! She has formally requested a house with a yard, so if you’re selling a spot in your family, Jennie’s buying! Jennie kept to herself when meeting Biggie the kitty, so he told us she gets the feline friendly stamp of approval! Yay Jennie! She is also amazing in the car, going from window to window just soaking it all in! You will definitely will brownie points with this one if you stop for a pup cup on the way home. Apply for her below! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/68017821cbc3bb4a0e0e44ed Questions? Email: Kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience! The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship! We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. Story
Meet Tigger, with his bright eyes, puppy energy, and affectionate nature, you’ve got a pup who’s as beautiful on the outside as he is sweet on the inside! Tigger is a social, loving boy who’s always ready to make friends, soak up attention, and bring joy wherever he goes! Watch his video here! https://youtu.be/hohA40FoOrg?feature=shared This 1 year-old pup has a coat as unique as his personality! We think this handsome boy is a Catahoula Leopard Dog and Australian Cattle Dog mix (no promises!) whose fur is a stunning swirl of black, white, and apricot—he looks like he’s both a blue heeler and a red heeler all at once. He is truly a beautiful boy! Tigger is a people-lover through and through—he knows no strangers! He’s the type of pup who melts right into belly rubs and rolls over when he gets excited. Still very much a puppy, he takes treats enthusiastically and has a playful side that shines when toys are around. What really makes him special is his affectionate personality! He’s eager to check in with his people, loves attention, and is happiest when he’s part of the action. For a young pup who hasn’t had much leash experience, Tigger picked it up impressively fast! He responds well to gentle corrections, looks to his handler for guidance, and is eager to please. He's already learning sit, and he walks in his crate like a pro. He’ll still need some polishing as he grows, but his willingness to learn makes him a dream to train! When it comes to other dogs, Tigger is submissive and respectful. It can take him a little while to feel fully comfortable, but once he warms up, he’ll happily run and play. If things get overwhelming, he defaults to rolling on his back in a sweet show of submission. He stayed brave, and he’s still growing into his full potential, so some hesitancy is normal! Because of this, he’d do best with a confident, gentle, and fair-playing dog sibling—or he could be perfectly happy as the star of the show in a one-dog home! Tigger is also cat tolerant. At first, he was curious and followed a cat around to sniff, but when the cat tried to play, he became more cautious and avoided interaction. With time and guidance, especially since he’s at a great age to learn, he could adapt well to living with a feline friend! Thanks to his sweet, people-friendly nature, Tigger could be a wonderful match for families with children. He may need a little help with manners, but his submissive and affectionate personality make him a safe, loving companion. He would love to go out on family outings, long adventures, or just cuddle up on the couch! He would be a fantastic addition to family life! Tigger would thrive in many different types of homes. Whether you live in a house with a yard or an apartment, he’ll be happy as long as he has people to love and play with. He’d especially enjoy a home with a medium-energy doggy sibling to romp around with. Since he’s such a social pup, he’ll shine on outings to parks, trails, or pet-friendly spots around town. At just a year old, Tigger has his whole life ahead of him. With continued positivity, patience, and training, he’s destined to grow into a well-mannered, loyal companion. He’s a sweet, social boy with a stunning coat, a big heart, and endless love to give—now he just needs a forever family to share it all with. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
