Emmylou is a 3-month-old Plott hound mix puppy and weighs 12 pounds. She is white, gold, and black "calico." She has the cutest side-smile! She loves playing and cuddling. Holly is a beautiful brindle plott hound with white features and paws. She was shy but friendly when she arrived to Rescue Gang, but she has been thriving in foster care! She loves to play, and even more so, she loves to cuddle with her humans. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She has energy, so she will need exercise and attention. Holly has her favorite toys and still has a little puppy in her when she plays with them. She is potty trained, walks very well on a leash, and sleeps through the night in her crate. A very loyal, affectionate, and smart dog, she is eager to learn more!DATCP #483538

Richard is just the sweetest little Plott hound mix puppy. He’s gentle, smart, curious & happiest when he’s close to his people. He does well with other dogs (slow intros are always best!) & is great with the resident cat. He hasn’t had much exposure to kids yet but would likely do best with dog savvy kiddos who understand boundaries. Richard is picking things up fast, sits like a pro & will offer his paw any chance he gets! Crate training is improving every day & he’s sleeping through the night more consistently. He prefers his crate in the bedroom so he can see & smell you. Potty training is coming along with just a few puppy accidents here & there. He walks nicely on a leash, is easy to redirect & loves rotating through his toys without destroying them. Big fan of socks & will “hide” his chews in very obvious places (next to the tv stand is not that sneaky, buddy!). He’s super cuddly, happy to lounge on the couch & active without being overwhelming.Richard, while a little nervous on the car rides there, does really well in dog friendly spaces & will just sit right by your side. He would likely be a great little companion for beer gardens or restaurant patios.He’s a little guy with a lot of love to give! 🐾 Meet Atlas – Our Longest-Waiting Adventurer 🐾 Atlas is a 4-year-old Catahoula mix who has been in the rescue program for almost 4 years, and we truly don’t understand how this incredible dog is still waiting for his forever home. Atlas is great with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends. He is cat-friendly, but he can be a bit much for them since he always wants to play—so he’d do best in a cat-free home or one with a very tolerant, confident cat. This guy is active, athletic, and always ready for an adventure. Walks, outings, and staying busy are his jam, so he’ll need an active family who can keep up with his enthusiasm for life. Atlas does have some separation anxiety, but it is very manageable and continues to improve with routine and structure. And here’s the really cool part—Atlas has competed in THREE OneWorld Canine Biathlons and absolutely crushed it, even placing 2nd in one of his races! 🏅 This dog has both brains and brawn. 📍 Fostered in Huntsville, AL 🐶 Good with dogs 🐱 Cats with conditions 🏃 Adventure-ready & athletic Atlas has waited long enough.
