Story
Holly is a beautiful brindle plott hound with white features and paws. She was shy but friendly when she arrived to Rescue Gang, but she has been thriving in foster care! She loves to play, and even more so, she loves to cuddle with her humans. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She has energy, so she will need exercise and attention. Holly has her favorite toys and still has a little puppy in her when she plays with them. She is potty trained, walks very well on a leash, and sleeps through the night in her crate. A very loyal, affectionate, and smart dog, she is eager to learn more!DATCP #483538

For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org __________ Izzy Needs a Foster or Adopter by July 11 to Secure Her Ride to Wisconsin Izzy is currently in Georgia and needs a FOSTER or ADOPTER to secure her spot on transport to Cedarburg, Wisconsin with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on July 11. This sweet girl is looking for a family willing to give her the love and understanding she deserves. Meet Izzy Izzy is a 1-year-old Plott Hound mix (best guess) weighing 48 pounds. She came into rescue as an owner surrender through no fault of her own and is now hoping for a fresh start with a family that will appreciate just how special she is. One of the first things you'll notice about Izzy is her adorable underbite. While it certainly adds to her charm, it also means she has some special feeding needs. Due to the severity of her underbite, Izzy cannot comfortably eat from a bowl placed on the ground. She does best eating wet food or kibble softened with water from a raised feeder. With this simple accommodation, she does very well and enjoys her meals without difficulty. Aside from her feeding setup, Izzy is an absolutely wonderful dog. She is affectionate, gentle, and loves being around people. Despite her unique needs, she doesn't let anything slow her down and approaches life with a happy attitude and a wagging tail. She is currently in a foster home in Georgia while she waits for her ride to Wisconsin. Izzy is looking for a foster or adoptive home that understands her feeding requirements and is willing to provide the small adjustments she needs to thrive. In return, you'll get a loyal, loving companion who is grateful for every bit of kindness she receives. Age: 1 Year Gender: Female (Spayed) Weight: 48 lbs Breed: Plott Hound Mix (Best Guess) Heartworm Status: Negative Potty Trained: Working on it Crate Trained: Working on it Leash Manners: Working on it Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Not tested Good with Kids: Yes Izzy is proof that a dog doesn't have to be perfect to be amazing. She simply needs a family willing to accommodate her special feeding needs and give her the loving home she deserves. If you can foster or adopt Izzy, please apply today. www.muttlife.org __________ Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter procedure, up to date dewormer, vaccinations, and heart worm prevention (age appropriate). The adoption fee is up to the discretion of Mutt Life Dog Rescue of Wisconsin. NOTE: THE BREED LISTED FOR EACH DOG IS OUR BEST GUESS WITH THE HELP OF OUR VETERINARIANS. AFTER ALL, THIS IS MUTT LIFE DOG RESCUE.. __________ Review adoption requirements and ensure you meet the necessary criteria to apply! https://www.muttlife.org/adoption-policies _________ ADOPTION PROCESS: 1.) Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. 3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! Story
Meadow is what happens when joy gets four legs. She is goofy, social, and genuinely committed to having a good time. Whether it’s toys, treats, people, or simply being included, Meadow brings full enthusiasm to everything she does. For Meadow, life is exciting—and she’s ready to share that excitement with her person. She is still learning how to be someone’s cherished companion, but she is a fast learner and highly food motivated. She’s already starting to pick up basics like sit, and once she knows a reward is involved, she locks in with impressive focus for a young dog. Right now, Meadow’s biggest trait is her big, unfiltered enthusiasm. She is jumpy in play (and in everyday moments), which is classic adolescent energy that will benefit from structure, consistency, and clear expectations. The good news: she is very responsive, enjoys working with people, and genuinely wants to get it right. In real-world outings, Meadow has already shown encouraging social awareness—she is not fixated on other dogs, is willing to travel with some encouragement, and when another dog was confrontational, she chose to disengage and move away rather than escalate. That soft, thoughtful temperament underneath the energy is a strong foundation. If you want a companion who brings energy, humor, and a daily reminder that life should be a little more fun, Meadow is your kind of dog. Meadow is a medium-sized mixed breed, born around December 25, 2025. Adoption fee: $500. If interested in Meadow, please apply at: www.adoptablefriends.org/adopt

She gets along great with other dogs and respectful kids! She is learning to walk on a leash and learned to sit! Luna is housebroken and completely crate trained. She is adjusting to living in a house and learning that she is safe now! Each day she comes more and more out of her shell showing the personality that makes everyone fall in love! Luna loves to play and especially with other dogs! At first, she needs a little time to warm up but very soon she's giving affection and making friends! Luna's safe space is her crate where she can decompress. She is absolutely loving having her own toys, especially stuffies! Please help Luna get her second chance! All she wants is to be loved! We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. June 25, 2026, 7:38 am
