Mushroom (A570901) is back! We met this boy for the first time back in August, and he was quickly scooped up by what we thought would be his forever home. Unfortunately, fate had other plans for him and that family was not a match for him. As sad as we are that he is back, we are thankful for everything we learned from his adopters.Mushroom is a energetic and playful guy which could be too much for a family with small children. Often, when he wants to play he will nip at you which can be painful at times. He will need a family that is prepared to help train this bad habit out and show him what good play looks like. He did AWESOME with his adopter`s cats, but does want to play with them, so a home with a cat who is tolerant of puppy antics would be best! Mushroom did well with the other dogs in the family, but would probably do best in a home with dogs around his size rather than smaller dogs. His play style can be a little much for more laid back dogs, but he would be a great playmate for dogs around his size that also need to burn off a little energy. Mushroom is a sweet puppy that just needs a home that can provide him with the mental simulation that he needs to thrive. She doesn't let her "peg leg" keep her from chasing squirrels or exploring the backyard. Grandma Mildred will tell you how she is feeling with her old lady grunts. If you are hanging out on the couch with her, she will ask for belly rubs. She is content to chill with you in the evening (or all day long). Grandma Mildred gets along with other dogs but would also do just fine being your only fur baby. She is house-trained and sleeps in a crate at night. If you are looking for a sweet old pup to share your home and heart with, Grandma Mildred would love to meet you.
