Story
Meet Bella, aka Specks, the lovable Pitbull mix who will steal your heart with her wagging tail and big amber eyes. (Bella) was going to be euthanized with her unborn babies if she didn't find a foster within 24hrs. I knew she had so much love to offer if she was given a chance to live. She really does deserves the world, but will be so grateful for hugs, kisses & lots of love. She's been through a lot including an emergency C-section unfortunately losing a couple babies. She is completely obsessed with her 2 little survivors, they can't be out of her sight for 30 seconds or she'll start to cry for them. She is a loyal companion that has so much to offer her future furever human. She loves running around, chewing her toys up & playing with kids. She is not aware of how big she is, so she will knock you off your feet if you are off guard but she will apologize with kisses. She is so smart, she will stand by the door when she needs to use the potty. Shes completely potty trained. She hasn't shown any signs of aggression. She really is the sweetest baby. She plays with my kids daily ages 10,6,1 yrs old. only thing she needs to work on, is going on walks & chewing up stuff that doesn't belong to her. Other than that. She's perfect

Story
Due to an unavoidable move, I am urgently seeking a loving foster or forever home for my best friend, a 9-year-old purebred German Shorthaired Pointer. This is a no-fault rehoming. He is incredibly sweet, loyal, house-trained, and a calm companion who has been with me 24/7 for years. As a senior, he has some manageable skin and ear issues that require a vet visit to get him on the right track. My main goal is to find a stable, patient home that can provide him with the care he needs to be comfortable and happy. A small rehoming fee will apply to ensure he goes to a safe, serious home. Please send me a private message if you have a place in your heart for this wonderful, deserving dog. Thank you

Story
Gus is an adorable 7 year old, 50-pound terrier mix. This sweet boy's life was turned upside down when his owner became too ill to care for him. Gus has lived in a couple of different homes since his surrender, and this has been a bit stressful for him. After some consistency and time, Gus is really showing his adorable self. He loves to sleep on the couch, play keep away/fetch and share snacks. Gus also loves to lay with you on you on the floor and get snuggles/wrestle. Gus is currently living with a foster who has several dogs, and he does well with them. He is tolerant of young-hyper dogs and very respectful of others once he gets to know them. When Gus is excited, he can invade personal space with his nose and needs help with giving some animals, and people, more adjustment time. Gus occasionally has an odd way of playing and can be growly with bones and toys, yet he has not tried to harm another dog. Gus can appear stoic and often appears as though everything is fine, but can get overstimulated quickly, he has very expressive eyebrows. If Gus gets overstimulated playing or with certain noises/sounds, he can go into statue mode. This can happen with lots of new people or in the car too. Gus can go into guard/bark mode where he finds a toy or paper towel roll, and protects it. He has to be put on a leash or distracted with food when he is in these modes. The longer Gus has been in foster care, the cuter and more well behaved he becomes!! Gus has never tried to bite his foster mom, but can definitely appear fierce when he is acting tough and responds primarily to positive reinforcement styles. Gus is unsure of cats, and mostly he wants to follow them around, obsessively. If they stand their ground, he is learning to leave them alone. Gus can live in a home with kids and other pets, but he will need a home willing to be patient with his quirks. He is house and crate trained and very responsive to electronic collars, beeps/tones and leashes. Gus has only been improving during his time in foster care, he understands more and more every day. Gus loves to go for walks, but can be a little strong on the leash, he improves with a gentle-leader and practice. Gus gets excited meeting new people or going new places, and he can jump or whine; Giving him a treat and asking him to sit helps him. Gus gets super excited to play in running water and then rub his face in the grass or get towel dried. He also enjoys squeaky toys, sour patch kids, popcorn and jerky treats. Gus knows how to sit and shake! Gus' adoption fee of $250 includes a microchip, vaccinations, and neuter surgery. If you would like to set up a Meet & Greet and be considered for adoption, please click on the button with the pet’s name to fill out an application. Someone will contact you within 24 hours.
