Story

Summit is about 5 years old. She was adopted from a shelter in Colorado at the beginning of 2020 and they estimated her age being 1 year. Overall she is a good, sweet and loving dog. She gets along well with our other dog, although she needed a long adjustment period at the beginning. We have 2 young children, that she gets along with for the most part, however we wouldn't recommend her in a home with young children because she can get snappy if she is accidentally bumped or jumped on. She hasn't done any harm, but it stresses us out. She doesn't do well with other dogs while on leash either. She does okay at a dog park as long as all dogs are unleashed. She did a 2 week board and train in Santa Monica in 2021 and did really well. We learned she would do great with agility classes, however we don't have the time to take her. She tends to escape our yard often by climbing over the brick fence. She would likely do well in a bigger yard with an electric fencing system. Text 719.354.6586
