Story
#A5627419 Jack is ready to walk right into your life with his adorable white sock feet - one with little polka dots! This cutie is pint sized for now, but he’s still growing and learning, like all puppies do. He may be a bit timid in the scary shelter environment, but with a calm and patient family, he’ll blossom into his best self! Jack came into the shelter with his sister Darlene (A5627420), so he may be good with other dogs - but he’s definitely good with people! He loves to get pets, and right now, would prefer to be carried rather than walking on the leash. Jack would do best with a family willing to spoil him, but also one that helps him with all the basic puppy training. Are you ready to grow and learn together with Jack?   6 month old black and white pointer mix - has a soft coat that is lovely to pet 34 pound neutered male - but still a puppy, so definitely not done growing! UTD on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! However, has had some tummy trouble, so will need to be adopted on a health waiver, with adopter to follow up with own vet for further diagnostics and potential treatment Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 5/21/24 as a stray Absolute cutie!  Puppylike energy, but a bit timid in the shelter environment - could use some confidence building, perhaps as a little brother to an existing pup sibling Will need basic puppy training - commands, manners, leash work, and potty training   JACK’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/InectQ4qy0U For more information, contact volunteer Lor at  lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Story
#A5627418 Zack is an adorable little man with a cow print spotted coat and the most endearing freckles on his head. This pint sized pup is the whole puppy package. Despite his age, his amazing personality shines through - curious, energetic, loving - and full of joyful energy!  Zack is a little scared at the shelter, so he could use some confidence building - he would make a great little brother to some existing pet siblings. If you’re ready to take home the perfect dog to learn and grow with for a lifetime, this cutie is for you!   6 month old black and white Pointer mix 24 lbs neutered male - but is still growing, so will get bigger UTD on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 5/21/24 as a stray Typical puppy energy level - very curious and energetic Loves people - very sweet and always gives kisses Came to the shelter with some siblings and did well with them, and would likely do well with other pups Does well on leash - both with collaring and walking  Due to his young age, needs some work on potty training and basic commands/manner - however, Zack loves treats and is very food motivated, so could easily learn!   ZACK’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/tRajzZrX2zM For more information, contact volunteer Lor at  lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter.
