This adorable boy is Pongo. He is a 6 month old Pointer mix who weighs about 15 lbs. He is a very fun pup who gets along with everyone he meets. We recently took him on an excursion where he met cows, pigs, sheep and goats and he loved them all. He does great riding in the car and did a good job of following commands. Pongo can be cat tested upon request. He will make a wonderful family dog and is patiently waiting for his family to find him. If you'd like to meet Pongo, apply today! He was rescued from the Taft shelter in Bakersfield. Most likely someone either tried to burn him or poured acid on his back, creating an open wound. Luckily, it's healing nicely. OLLIE is amazing with people and loves other dogs and would need a home with another playful dog. He is bonded with POLLY and the two are nutcases as they love to play and wrestle and cuddle and nap... and then repeat again! OLLIE is very affectionate and is also crate trained and housebroken.
