Story
Kaya was found tied up at Home Depot in a cold night. We named her Kaya, which means rejoice. She’s a wonderful pet. She can sit, stay, a great Walker on a leash and loves to play. Loves to cuddle up on the couch, sleeps through the night in a crate and has no problem being in a crate. She’s very sweet and loving. She gets very excited when we come home. She almost does a tap dance. It’s cute. she’s quiet, she doesn’t bark and she loves being around my daughter and I. She’s healthy. All of her vaccines and micro chipped were done last month she’s due to be spayed in about two weeks. She’s a lot of fun. She’s a high energy type dog so she needs a lot of exercise and play a lot of mind simulation. Ages in perfect health. My daughter and I are not able to give her the exercise that she needs. That’s part of the reason why we need to find a good, loving home where the family is active. Take her running with you or on a bike. Kaya will bring a lot of joy to the family, as she has.

Story
We rescued Dakota about two years ago. She came from out of state along with her mom and siblings and most likely lived in an unpleasant environment. We fell in love with her because of gentle and loving demeanor. Dakota has learned to be a wonderful indoor dog. For being a high energy dog, she tends to be fairly relaxed while inside the house. There definitely is potential for her to be left alone though we didn’t do that often being that we have 2 high energy dogs. Even though we were warned about her hunting instincts, we took our chances and introduced her to our cat. We are glad we did! They have become very good friends! The reason looking to rehome her is because of her extreme athletic abilities. Her deep fear of fireworks prompts her to escape every time there are loud outdoor sounds. Even out of her crate. At this point, we’ve run out of ideas/resources to keep her safe and would love to give her an opportunity to thrive in a more suiting home.

Story
Our sweet boy Theo is looking for a new home. He's a Black Lab / German Shorthaired Pointer mix that we rescued 5 years ago as a puppy. Due to major changes in our household; including a new baby with allergies and work requiring frequent travel; we can no longer give him the care and time he deserves. Theo is a crate-trained and house-trained cuddle bug who loves cozy blankets and being near his people. Though he's a high-energy mix, he settles well indoors and is happy with long walks or relaxing with you. He's friendly with other dogs but has a strong prey drive, so no cats. Theo does struggle with anxiety, especially with loud noises and car rides. When anxious he may whine, try to climb into your lap, or become destructive if left loose (though he's great when crated). He's also a strong leash puller and jumps when excited. We're looking for an adopter with experience with large, high-energy dogs and the time and patience to support an anxious pup.
