Story
Meet Boston – Your Future Loyal Sidekick! 🐾 Boston is a charming, one-of-a-kind pup who’s ready to win over the heart of a patient and understanding adopter. This squeaker-seeking, fetch-loving goofball thrives on scent walks, car rides, and cozy nights watching TV by your side. He’s a pro at chew toys, a true foodie, and loves nothing more than the company of another canine companion. Boston is crate, house, and leash trained. Once he trusts you, he becomes the most loyal snuggle buddy you could ask for. While he takes time to warm up to new people, especially men, he bonds deeply with his person - ideally a calm, dog-savvy female. Although he’ll need continued support and structure to thrive in his forever home, the reward is a devoted best friend for life. No cats for this guy, please, but if you’ve got another friendly dog, Boston will be thrilled to have a furry sibling. Are you the right match for Boston’s big heart and playful spirit? To adopt, submit an application at www.because4paws.org Boston is a English Pointer/Retriever mix. He's up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and monthly preventatives. He is neutered and microchipped, too. As with every dog, he will need to continue his socialization and training in his forever home.

Story
Buck is a Pointer mix who was left outside our shelter in the middle of the night on the coldest night of the year. When he was found he was scared and thin. After he warmed up from the frigid temperatures and he began to trust us, his heart is as warm as ever. He loves to be around people. He is dog selective though, so a meeting would be required. Buck loves to run and play in our play yards. To apply for this animal please go to our website, www.catskillanimalrescue.com and complete an application. All adoptions include spay/neuter, 1st Distemper shot, all animals over 3 months will have current rabies shot. Dogs will be microchipped.

Story
*Name: Sally *Age: 3.5 years old  *Current Weight: 45 lbs  *Adoption fee: $300 Meet Sally! Sally is a beautiful female pointer mix who is looking for her forever home! She’s a sweet and affectionate girl who loves nothing more than cuddling up with her humans. One of Sally’s favorite things to do is play with other dogs—and she absolutely lights up when she’s having fun with her furry friends! Sally is bonded to her best friend, her sweet and shy male companion Nicky. They find comfort and confidence in each other, and because of their special bond, they are looking for a home together where they can continue to thrive side by side. Sally’s story is one of resilience. She was shot with a BB gun that became lodged in her spine, but after treatment, she has recovered most of her hind leg use. She walks with straight legs, which just adds to her uniqueness—and she can even go up and down stairs! Despite everything she’s been through, Sally remains an active, happy girl who loves to play and explore her surroundings. She is truly a special pup, and any home lucky enough to adopt Sally (and Nicky!) will be gaining two incredible souls.  To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ FAQs -- PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE EMAILING All adoption fees are non-refundable Please note that SNARR NE is a volunteer-based organization. While our volunteers will try to respond to you as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the below information about our adoption process before emailing: LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the puppy's/dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents depending on the situation. *NOTE* We rarely know a dog's exact age, nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. Because we often do not have access to medical records at the time that we are listing for dogs for adoption, there are sometimes discrepancies between what is posted on their profile and what might be listed on a dog's medical records. SNARR'S ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting a SNARR dog/puppy is to fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/. Once we receive your application, one of our adoption application processors will contact you, review our adoption process with you, and answer any additional questions you may have. **We do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions, but on best fit for a family and most importantly the puppy or dog. ** MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until after your adoption application has been fully processed and approved by one of our adoption processors. APPLYING ONLINE: If you fill out an online application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device), make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible, and that you receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, that means we did NOT receive your application. ##1664181##

Story
I acquired him from a friend,, who was fostering him. He is about 2 years old. He can be a little timid when meeting new people, but once he feels comfortable, he is incredibly loving and affectionate. He loves cuddling, giving kisses, and being close to his people. He is active, gentle, caring, and has a sweet personality. I’m looking for a patient and loving home that will give him the attention, exercise, and affection he deserves. He would do best with someone willing to give him a little time to warm up and show his true loving nature.

Story
*Name: Donny *Age: 3 years old *Current Weight: 58 lbs  *Adoption fee: $475 Meet Donny — your future running partner, hiking buddy, and full-time, slightly dramatic best friend. This 50-pound Pointer mix is basically an athlete trapped in a dog’s body… who also happens to be obsessed with you. Donny lives for adventure—long walks, hikes, jogs, sniffing every single blade of grass like it personally offended him—you name it, he’s in. And just when you think he’s in full explorer mode, he’ll stop mid-sniff like, “wait…quick check-in…hi I love you,” grab a few pets, and then get right back to business. He greets his people like you just returned from war. Went to grab the mail? UNREAL. BEST DAY EVER. You are his hero. His king. His entire personality. Other dogs? Not his thing. Not his vibe. Not on his vision board. He’s not looking for a sibling—he’s looking to be your one and only, center-of-the-universe, no-sharing-required kind of love. Honestly? Respect. What he does love: His humans (deeply, dramatically, forever) Big squeaky tennis balls (bring one and you will unlock immediate soulmate status) Being active and included in your life What you get: a devoted, affectionate, adventure-loving best friend who will stick by your side through every walk, every run, every couch crash, and every snack break (he’s emotionally invested in those too).
