Story
Besides the fact that this darling little girl is adorable, she's also a lot of fun to have around! She's energetic! She's playful! She's affectionate! She is house trained, and she is kennel trained. She walks very nicely on leash. She's wonderful with children. She would make an excellent hiking partner Would be perfect for a family who spends time outdoors! She's in a foster home in Memphis Tennessee. Once an application has been submitted and approved, the foster family would be happy to speak with you and tell you all about her! Once adopted, she will travel on rescue vet transport to the north east. They travel each weekend, leaving Memphis, Tennessee, Friday morning at 6 AM and traveling to the northeast delivering newly adopted pets. They travel as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. You will find that our volunteer team is very responsive so please submit your application only when you're ready to adopt your new pet! PJ is approximately 3 years old and about 65lb. He looks to be a Pointer/Hound Mix but we won't know for sure without DNA testing. PJ recently completed the neuter procedure and is up to date on all vaccines. Even though he was picked up as a stray, PJ seems to know the command 'sit' and is very treat motivated in his training. His medium coat is super soft and he loves scratches under the chin and back. He also really loves to give hugs and kisses! He's a super playful boy and does well with kids and other dogs. He's not experienced cats yet. He just seems to be happy all of the time and wants to be around people so as to not miss a second at his second chance at a forever home.We've recently learned how much PJ loves soft squeaky toys! Currently his favorite is a cute red lobster plushy that he loves to just hold in his mouth while receiving pets and scratches.
