Jenkins possesses a low-to-moderate energy level and thrives on spending quality time with his owners, whether that entails going for a walk or hike, or simply snuggling beside them on the couch. Jenkins is fully potty-trained, knowledgeable in basic commands, and extremely eager to please. He demonstrates excellent compatibility with other dogs and children; however, his suitability with cats remains unknown. Jenkins' ideal living situation would be with an owner who can dedicate time to him. Due to his nervous disposition in densely populated areas and chaotic environments, Jenkins may flourish in a more secluded living arrangement.

This healthy 5 year old boy was set to be euthanized today. After talking to his owners yesterday, they agreed to surrender him to us. We had to pick him up last night in order for him to live. We were made aware that he might have some behavioral issues. We reached out to our fantastic trainer, and he had room for Billy to at least get an assessment. We drove 2 hours to get him there, and our trainer’s initial observation is that he is not aggressive, scared and skittish yes, but not aggressive. He is going to stay with our trainer for a month long board & training to work on some confidence building. We will be updating all that we learn about him while he is in training. So far, we do know he is great with other dogs.outside of the home, but prefers to be your one and only dog. He will do well with older, respectful children.

Spot was born 01/25/2024 and weighs 60 lbs . He is house and crate trained and does well with other dogs and children. The adoption fee is $450 which includes the neuter, microchip with lifetime registration, vaccinations (which include DHLPPC, Lyme, Bordetella & Rabies) dewormings and heartworm/lyme testing. Spot is participating in the cell dog program which is where the dog stays at the prison with a dog handler working on basic obedience and house, crate, and leash training. It's an amazing program! We will start taking apps but he will be in the program for a few weeks so please be patient. Meet Trenton! This good boy is the whole package! He is a mixed breed, best guess English pointer/boxer mix, and no one breed is evident. He is 2-year-old medium sized (55 pound) love bug who is gentle and adores kids. He is house trained. It does not appear he has been taught basic commands, but he should be a quick learner as he learned the doggy door ropes in a single day. The crate is not his favorite. He will go in when bribed with delicious treats and sleep quietly through the night. He mimics the vibe of the house by playing when we are active and snuggling on couch when we are quiet. He also gets along with other dogs, playing or backing off at the appropriate times. As he has settled into his foster home, he has started wrestling with the alpha dog of the house. Trenton deserves someone who will shower him with attention, car rides and rounds of fetch. He is everyone’s best friend, can he be yours? Trenton is neutered and up to date on all vaccines, flea and heartworm medication.
