MY RESCUE STORY
I was on the euthanasia list at a crowded city pound when kind people rescued me just in time.Since then, I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to experience life in a foster home. Living with a family has helped me become much more relaxed, settled, and connected with people. My foster experience has truly brought out the very best in me, and I’m now ready to find a forever family of my own.

MY PERSONALITY
Hi, I’m KungFu!When I was first rescued, I was described as a fairly high-energy dog. But since moving into a foster home, I’ve changed beautifully.Living in a stable home with consistent routines, affection, and regular interaction with people has helped me become much calmer, gentler, and more balanced.I’ve developed a wonderful connection with my foster family and really enjoy being part of everyday family life. I pay close attention to my people, respond well to guidance, and have become very easy to communicate with.I’m affectionate and loving, but I also know how to relax and enjoy quiet time at home. My foster family has seen just how sweet and gentle I truly am.One of my best qualities is how well I do with people of all ages. I’m especially gentle with children and enjoy spending time with them.I also do very well with other dogs, including small dogs. I’m respectful, gentle, and comfortable sharing my space with canine friends.Foster life has helped me blossom into a calm, affectionate, and emotionally connected family dog.

ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY
I was previously described as a high-energy dog, but foster life has helped me become much calmer and more balanced.I still enjoy walks, outdoor activities, exploring, and playtime, but I also know how to settle down and relax peacefully at home.I don’t need constant activity to be happy. A good walk, some outdoor time, and plenty of quality time with my family are enough to keep me content.I also have plenty of walking experience and generally walk nicely on leash while staying close to my person.
TRAINING & HABITS
Living with a foster family has helped me become very comfortable with everyday home life.I understand household routines well, listen closely to my humans, and respond nicely to direction.I already know several cues, including:SitPawWaitCatching treats when they are tossed to meI’m mostly used to going potty outside.I settle nicely in a kennel when needed and can get in and out of the car on my own.I don’t guard my food from people. As with any multi-dog household, feeding dogs separately is always a good habit.
