Story
Not for everyone. But maybe just right for you. 🐾 I’ve been waiting nearly three years for the right person—not just anyone. I don’t give my trust away easily, but when I choose you, I’m all in. Loyal. Loving. Yours. I’ll be your shadow, your adventure buddy, your “just us two” kind of dog. I’m quirky, smart, and full of personality. I love being outside, exploring new scents, and then crashing on the couch next to my favorite person. But I need space, calm, and someone who understands dogs like me—because I come with some history and strong opinions. My ideal home? Adult-only, no other pets, and no chaos. I need a confident, patient person who’s not afraid to take things slow. But if you earn my trust, you’ll get the kind of loyalty most people only dream about. Story
My name is Robbie and I am puppy at heart and only 6 months old.  My pictures make me look big but ready I am not big at all. I only weigh 35 pounds at 6 months and they say I will be 65-70- pounds as an adult.  I LUV KIDS!   My heart leaps for joy when I See children that I can play with and love on.  I am a boy that loves to run fast and for a little bit of time too.  I need not only physical Exercise but also some fun games and training games to help my smart brain feel challenged too.  I need a fenced yard and someone To help share playtime and games with me sometimes.  I could use the company of another dog as well to help me with the physical Playtime outside and also to keep me active with socialization with other dogs.   We think that Robbie has some Pointer in him since He raises once leg and seems to point quite often during this outside playtime.  He is alert and very smart.   He walks pretty well on a leash and he is curious to learn more things about life.  He is not inside a lot so we would have to say that he could be housebroken fast if given some one on one Attention and training.  This boy is good with cats, dogs and adores children.  He never meets a stranger and he will needs a fenced yard To best live within safely and to run and play for long hours if the weather is good.  We want a wonderful dog savvy and loving family for Robbie.   He will be a 65 pounds boy when fully grown we think.   If you are interested in knowing more about Robbie please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Mention where you live.  We transport from Nashville, TN where we are based and we travel to the Northeastern region as well with our pre-adopted dogs.   Thank you for considering this precious boy   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 30, 2024, 2:10 pm

Story
adoption donation : $699 weight 40 lbs  Age 2 years       Sweet Stubby was found wandering alone in a rural part of Mississippi, and taken in by an elderly man who fell in love with this gentle boy but couldn’t keep him. He called Wags for help and the rescue took him in, The man’s grandson named him Stubby for his little short legs!     Stubby is a sweet boy, he is gentle and gets along fine with all the dogs at the rescue. He was recently neutered and has all his vaccinations and is ready for a loving home. Stubby absolutely loves to be with his people, he follows the director of the rescue all over the property, his little tail wagging. He is gentle with children and just a great family dog. Stubby is house trained at Wags but like any rescue may need a refresher while he adjusted to a new home.   Stubby is ready to come to the northeast on Saturday, March 8. He will make a wonderful member of the family.       Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use. For more information on adopting Marshmallow or any of our Wags dogs please email mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com    June 11, 2025, 7:13 am

Story
Dolly is 8.5 years old and 65lbs. She is a chill dog that enjoys walks, napping, getting lots of pets and treats from mature adults. She is low maintenance and healthy. She prefers the love and affection of adults that can watch out for her triggers. She does not like people or animals touching her rear unless she trusts you. Dolly loves massages, pets, and snuggling with her humans on the couch or bed. She needs to be in a child and pet free home. We love her but she does not like our toddler as he is less mindful of her triggers. We adopted her in 2018 and love her dearly but have to rehome her so that she is in a more comfortable and child free environment where she can get the attention she deserves.

Story
Dottie needs a very active leader for her best fit. She is a dominant personality and if she had an energetic owner, who is a pack leader, she’d be golden. She is a working breed and needs someone who can guide her. Very affectionate as well as active. She’s a great dog just needs to land in the right place. A fenced yard is definitely needed Age: 1 year. WT: 58 lbs. Temperament: Good with energetic male dogs, no small kids, she is a herder. Vetting: spayed, up to date on vaccines, HW negative. Training: crate trained, house trained, knows commands Sit-stay-down-heel . For questions, please email loramyers51@yahoo.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself.
