Well Meet Ralphie! He loves to go for walks, play in the water, play soccer, etc. He has all the energy to keep up with you, but are you ready to keep up with him? Ralphie is 4 years young. He has already started learning some basic training skills. He has learned sit and stay. He does good on a leash. He is a smart boy who can learn so much more. Ralphie would prefer to be an only dog. He's looking for someone who has an active lifestyle, who will take him hiking, running, to the lake, etc. Come by anytime we are open to meet this sweet, energetic boy! All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, dewormed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines & started on Flea Preventatives. Cats are tested for FIV/FELK. Dogs over 6 months are tested for heartworms and started on HW prevention. Our adoptions include a 30 Day Free Trial period with Trupanion Pet InsuranceWE ARE OPEN for visitors from 12PM - 4PM Tuesday-Saturdays or by APPOINTMENT at other times. We suggest calling prior to visiting our adoption center to ensure the animal you wish to meet is here at our Center (some are in foster care) and still available. If you want to meet an animal that is being fostered an approved application & appointment is required. We will call or email you the status of your application once it is processed. Nothing will be processed on Sundays or Mondays.All our pets are posted online and we continue to take applications until they are actually adopted. I’m Puddy, a precious pocket-size pointer mix in search of my forever home!I came to the Humane Society of York County as a stray, and I’m still a young girl – my estimated birth date is April 2025. I’m a petite package of about 20 pounds.I get along well with other dogs at the rescue. I have a confident personality, so I need to be a good match for any pets in a forever home.I’m an educated girl – a graduate from Zoom Room in Fort Mill, where I learned all of my basic skills like sit, down and heel. My adopters will get two free lessons!I have typical puppy energy and am a great leash-walker and car rider.
