Well Meet Ralphie! He loves to go for walks, play in the water, play soccer, etc. He has all the energy to keep up with you, but are you ready to keep up with him? Ralphie is 4 years young. He has already started learning some basic training skills. He has learned sit and stay. He does good on a leash. He is a smart boy who can learn so much more. Ralphie would prefer to be an only dog. He's looking for someone who has an active lifestyle, who will take him hiking, running, to the lake, etc. Come by anytime we are open to meet this sweet, energetic boy! All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, dewormed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines & started on Flea Preventatives. Cats are tested for FIV/FELK. Dogs over 6 months are tested for heartworms and started on HW prevention. Our adoptions include a 30 Day Free Trial period with Trupanion Pet InsuranceWE ARE OPEN for visitors from 12PM - 4PM Tuesday-Saturdays or by APPOINTMENT at other times. We suggest calling prior to visiting our adoption center to ensure the animal you wish to meet is here at our Center (some are in foster care) and still available. If you want to meet an animal that is being fostered an approved application & appointment is required. We will call or email you the status of your application once it is processed. Nothing will be processed on Sundays or Mondays.All our pets are posted online and we continue to take applications until they are actually adopted. Meet Fenway, Fenny was born on 2/12/25 and is a Great Dane/Pointer mix who was surrendered to our rescue. Fenway is great with other dogs and loves people so much that he wants to stand up on his back legs and give the best bear hugs! He is learning how to walk on a leash and does very well with basic commands like "sit" "stay" and "lay down". He is a professional at fetch and loves to play with his ball. Fenway is now neutered, fully vetted and up to date on all required vaccinations. If you would be interested in giving this big loving boy a home again, please visit our website at Richardsonrescue.org to fill out an adoption application. We are looking for him to go to a home that has a yard and with an active family. He does great with kids and does ok with dogs once he meets them. He loves to play and run around. He is a wonderful snuggle buddy and loves a good belly rub.
