Story
When I was born, I assure you I didn't want to grow up to be left in a high kill shelter, however, that is what happened to me. LUCKILY, the fates (and some awesome rescue folks) aligned and saved me from certain death and brought me to a safe place where I can find a REAL family and a REAL home. Let me tell you about myself, I am cute, happy, loving, nervous at times, but have the long legs of a pointer! I have lots of energy for running, jumping and playing and I have the handsome chiseled jaw that most actors would love to have! Now if you need a great looking chap, look my way!!! ADOPT...........DON'T SHOP!!! My LIFE depends on it!!! LOcal adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Hi there! My name is Lucy. I’m a 40-lb female Small German Shorthaired Pointer mix living in Columbia, Tennessee, and I’ve been told I have a bright spirit and a joyful personality.I was found as a stray back in December, but since then I’ve been safe and well cared for. Now I’m hoping to find my very own forever home where I can get lots of love, companionship, and fun things to do with my people.I’m a friendly girl who loves being part of the action. If you’re gardening, walking around the yard, or just hanging out, I’ll be happy to join you! I would do best with a family that enjoys including their dog in daily life. I’m pretty adaptable too, so I could fit in well with many kinds of homes—even ones with land or other animals.I’m crate-trained and already have a good foundation to build on. I’m not quite leash-trained yet, but I’m eager to learn and would love someone who can help teach me. I have no bite history and no known behavioral issues.I get along well with children, other dogs, and even horses, so I could be a great fit for a family home or a place with a little land.Health-wise, I’m in great shape! I’m spayed, heartworm-negative, and fully up to date on my vaccinations, including DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies, and CIV.What I’m really looking for is an active, loving home where I can get plenty of attention, exercise, and time with my people. I promise to be a loyal, happy companion who’s always excited to see you.If you think we might be the perfect match, please have your humans contact Mary Ruth Rogers  Meet Lucy!!She’s hoping a foster or adopter will spring her from boarding! This girl loves people, loves other dogs, and loves her toys!!! Story
Meet Your New Best Friend! This sweet girl is a playful, energetic companion who brings joy and excitement to every room she enters. Whether it’s a game of fetch in the backyard or a romp through the park, she’s always ready for fun and adventure. One of her greatest qualities is her love for other dogs. She truly thrives in the company of her fellow four-legged friends, making her the perfect addition to a home that already has a dog — or one that’s ready to welcome a dynamic duo. She’s sociable, gentle, and knows how to share the spotlight. With a little patience and positive reinforcement, she’ll have new commands mastered in no time. Best of all, she’s fully housebroken, so she’ll settle right into her new home without missing a beat. Lily loves cuddling, running, squeaky toys, and bones. She also has her own wardrobe.
