Well, Hi there, my name is Neptune. I can be shy at first but will quickly warm up to new comers. I'm a kind of guy that loves to snuggle and play. My favorite toys are squeaky balls but I love all my toys. I’m great with my little hooman brother and sister. I’m good on a leash but do get excited when I see other dogs or kids I want to play with. I am very easy going and even tempered, just an all around low key guy. My greatest assets are that I like to please and I am very affectionate. Please make sure you have a yard with a 6 ft fence for me. I am up tp date on all my vaccines, on heartworm prevention, neutered and microchipped. My adoption fee is $200 locally or I can be adopted out of state for $350 (includes travel fee and health certificate). Me and my buddy are two male coonhounds, I’m Brown Dog and he’s White Dog. We were dumped as puppies in 2020 but have been lovingly cared for by an elderly couple. Sadly, they can no longer care for us, so we’re looking for a new forever home— together, if possible. We’re friendly, smart, highly trainable and great with people and other dogs. We’ve lived outdoors with an electric fence and are used to being brought in at night. We do have strong hunting instincts, so a home without small animals is best. We are also great running dogs and will stay right by your side, either on or off leash. I’m Brown Dog (the smaller boss) and I take a daily glucosamine supplement after recovering from Rocky Mountain spotted fever as a pup. My brother, White Dog, is a bit more reserved but loves ear scratches. We’ve never met a stranger and can’t wait to meet you!
