After being single for a month and having to fend for herself on the mean streets of Austin, Twiggy has decided she would prefer not to be single ever again, thank you very much. If you value personal space, keep searching. If co-dependency appeals to you, Twiggy is your girl! Twiggy is 50 pounds of Velcro, in a dog-shaped body, and she will stick as close to you as you will let her…and maybe even a little closer if you stop paying attention. Loyal, sweet, and the lovable-est of loves, she will be happy to run with you, or lounge on the couch beside you. If you are into it, she is too. At around 5 years old, she’s a girl who knows what she wants, and that is to be the center of your world. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve.
