Story
If you’re looking for the perfect blend of spunk and sweetness in a furry friend, then Snickers is the cat for you! This handsome boy started out his life on the streets and was originally released after being TNR’d (hence his tipped ear!). But after rescue folks noticed how friendly he was with people, rubbing legs and demanding pets constantly, he was brought right back inside to begin the good life as an indoor cat and is now ready to find his forever home. Despite being a big and regal looking fella, he’s got the tiniest, most high-pitched little meow! He’s also a biscuit making champion, kneading and purring as soon as you start to pet him. An especially cute trait of his is that he ADORES being held and carried around, purring and snuggling all the while. When not being held like a baby, he’ll curl up right next to you or even worm his way onto your lap, always wanting to sit near you. When he’s ready to play, he goes crazy for a ribbon/string on a stick toy (check out the video of him in action!) Though he’s still learning the ropes of indoor living, he’s a real quick learner and is taking to it like a champ, well on his way to becoming the perfect lap cat. He is so content to nap, chill out, or watch the world go by from a comfy windowsill, hardly ever behaving mischievously when left unattended. He mastered the litter box in no time flat and he loves his cat tree’s scratching posts. He can get a bit excited or easily overstimulated when being pet, and he tends to nip or swipe his paws at your hands very suddenly (his foster parents are trying to help him break this habit, he has learned to be gentler and he never bites hard or uses his claws) so he would NOT be the best fit for a first time cat owner or in a household with younger children. We don’t know how well he’d handle dogs, but because he was a former outdoor colony cat, he would likely do okay in a home with other cats if given a proper introduction. However, he’s also very happy to be the one and only pet of the house (he definitely enjoys being the center of attention!).  Adoption fee: $200, includes all shots, sterilized, dewormed, deflea, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Squeaky was surrendered to a high kill shelter when their elderly owner passed away.   They have been through alot and they miss their mom. Both sisters are used to a quiet home with other cats.  They love it when you talk to them gently and pet them.  They would love to be able to go to a home together where there is a lap or two to warm. Squeaky has a very small meow thus her name.  She will talk to you if you say her name.  She is the ultimate lap warmer who loves to lay in sunny places and cozy beds.  She loves her wet food and treats.  she is definitely a foodie! Adoption fee: $100/200 pair, includes all shots, sterilized, dewormed, deflea, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have.
