Story
Meet Joker Joker is a handsome three-year-old brown, black, and white domestic medium hair tabby who was abandoned and later rescued in West Virginia. After his journey, his longer coat was tangled and matted, so he received a lion cut — and he wears it like a champ! This cuddly boy is a true lap cat who absolutely adores being held. Joker will happily melt into your arms, soaking up every second of affection, and if you stop petting him, don’t be surprised if he gently climbs right back into your lap to ask for more. He’s a head-butting sweetheart who will nudge you for attention and closeness, always wanting to be as near to you as possible. Despite everything he’s been through, Joker hasn’t let it slow him down one bit — he is full of love, personality, and joy. He’s a social, people-loving cat who wants to be part of the action. Whether you’re relaxing, working, or moving around the house, he’ll be right there with you, ready to share in every moment. Joker enjoys the company of other cats and, with proper introductions, will likely do well with dogs too. His easygoing, friendly nature makes him a wonderful addition to many types of homes. True to his name, Joker has a fun-loving, playful side and a sense of humor that makes him a delight to be around. He brings lightness, laughter, and warmth wherever he goes. This sweet, affectionate boy is ready to leave his past behind and find a loving home where he can continue spreading joy, cuddles, and companionship every day. If you’re looking for a devoted, social, and extra-snuggly lap cat, Joker is ready to make your life brighter. Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters.
