Story
Hi, I’m Flapjack. I’m a gray tabby boy around 2 years old, and if you meet me in person, you’ll probably understand pretty quickly how I got my name. The second someone gives me attention, I completely melt—rolling over, flopping onto my side, and wriggling around for more pets like it’s the greatest thing in the world. Honestly, love and affection are my favorite things. You might notice that one of my ears looks a little different. It’s called “cauliflower ear,” and while it gives me a bit of extra character, it isn’t actively causing me any problems. I think it just makes me even more unforgettable.  Before coming to Fancy Cats, I arrived at one of their partner shelters as a stray. No one knows exactly where I came from or how long I was out there on my own, but somehow through it all, I kept my sweet and trusting heart. I still believe every new person could be my person. What I really want now is a home where I never have to wonder if I’m safe or loved again. A couch to flop on, hands to pet me, and someone who smiles every time they see me dramatically roll over asking for attention. I’m neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and negative for feline leukemia and FIV—completely ready to start my next chapter. I’ve spent enough time surviving. Now I’m hoping it’s finally my turn to just be somebody’s beloved cat. If you think I'd fit into your family, come visit me at the Manassas PetCo (10055 Wellington Rd, Manassas, VA 20110). Adoption fee $200, includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Trouble is the perfect mix of sweet and playful. He may not have been the bravest kitten at first, but now that he's comfortable, he's become the boldest of the bunch! Despite his newfound confidence, he's an incredibly gentle, sweet and affectionate boy who prefers cuddles over roughhousing. He absolutely loves pets and kisses, and will happily purr away when you rub his belly. With his calm, gentle nature and love for snuggling, he's the perfect little cuddle buddy. Trouble has a healthy appetite and excellent litter box habits. He plays very well independently, as well as with his siblings. He loves playing with pompoms, spirals, wand toys, laser pointers, and anything involving his human. If the opportunity arises, he will hop up on your back and take a nap. Kittens must be adopted in pairs if you don't already have a young cat or kitten at home. Please consider adopting Trouble with one of his sisters (Taboo or Twister) or his mother (Jenga).
